You’ll never get a glimpse of Omar’s past. All you will know and see is that this man is respected and FEARED by many in the neighborhood. The shyt is he has a code and he doesn’t strike unless you’re in the drug game nor does he kill kids. People are afariad and give in to his hold ups b/c he usually walk around w/ that big ole shot gun and the show starts off giving u this sense that he’s been ripping and robbing people in the hood for awhile so people just give up the goods. The gurl w/ the baby is just some junkie who will offer Omar shelter and a hide out when things get hot on the block. he could never have permanent residence b/c of his ripping & robbing.
She’s also like his look out person. She’s not a major character so don’t be too concern w/ her. She’s just loyal and in turn Omar –b/c he’s kinda like the hood’s robin hood– is loyal to her. By giving her drugs when she doesnt have money.

Yeah that’s Bey. He’s a REAL one. A straight up killar but loyal & funny as hell. You’ll see towrds the end of the 1st season. He’s the dark skin dude w/ the big eyes.
The white sgt aka Major Rawls he’s mad at Jimmy b/c Jimmy doesn’t understand the rules of “Chain of Command”. McNulty as The Bunk will say constantly “gives a ***** when it’s not your turn” he *****ed off the dept by talking to Judge Fallon about the Barskdale case and how they keep beating state evidence. He didn’t follow the chain of command so now Rawls has it out for him.

Yea joy bryant is pretty.
I know Joy from back in the day. She is really beautiful in person- both her face and spirit. She was never competitive with other women or conceited. She’s also extra smart (prep school then an ivy league college before getting into modeling).
About the hair, that’s most likely a weave. Her hair is thinner and naturally light brown and when I knew her it was always medium length. But they may have some Hollywood tricks for hair growth I don’t know about.
I remember when she was going to agencies and getting dissed and she would come back disappointed and we’d tell her “you’re going to make it girl!” I’m so glad she did, she worked hard for it and deserves it.
I love that you said cute girl next door s*****, but also that she is sexy because it seems that you can not be just a normal good girl and be seen as sexy. This is the best I seen Joy also! She looked fly.
