Women are twice as likely to struggle with anxiety disorders in comparison to men, new research from the University of Cambridge, which was published in the journal Brain and Behavior, suggests. According to The Independent, researchers also found that the disorder, which is estimated to affect four in every 100 people, disproportionately impacts those under 35 years of age. “Anxiety disorders can make life extremely difficult for some people and it is important for our health services to understand how common they are and which groups of people are at greatest risk,” said Olivia Remes with the Department of Public Health and Primary Care at Cambridge…
