I hope she did break up with him. I always liked Janet, but recently with the death of my boo (MJJ), she has really grown up in my opinion. Well, since IDIGM, she seems as if she’s Ms. Jackson now. And she was so sophisticated and graceful, and motherly at the funeral. That is a good look. And Jermaine seem so young and tatooed up. It’s time for Janet to look at someone more presentable, especially if she wants to raise MJJs kids. But, if they are still together, I’m not going to cry about it.

I know people had mad jokes but on the for real side, I don’t think they should have ever mixed business with pleasure. Janet should have stuck with Jimmy & Terry. They knew Janet’s limits & know how to write for her limited vocal skills. JD almost messed up his friendship with Mariah Carey. He was insisting on the 2 doing a song together. MC & Janet have always been cool but MC had no intentions on doing a song with a non-singer/dance artist.

Maybe she truly loved him-but to me they did not make a good couple @ all!!!….and 2 me, he looks way older than her!

It’s the tattoo curse! I swear if you get your sig. other’s name or pic tatted on you, the relationship will end. JK- people break up every day & move on. Its not like they were a very public couple anyway. Time will tell.

Janet and Jermaine have been having problems for awhile. She blames him for her decline musically, because he helped produce her last album which didn’t do so well. I doubt if a relationship will ever last for her, supposedly she’s very controlling. This is the woman that was married for 9yrs to Rene Alizondo, kept it a secret and was adamant he do the same, until he got sick of it and the divorce popped up. Then Janet didn’t want to give her hubby a dime even after he wrote 37 songs with her including ‘That’s The Way Love Goes’ and developed the concept for her Rhythm nation and velvet rope albums. He had to take her to court. Janet is triflin! Plus she had a child with James Debarge her 1st hubby and kept that a seceret as well, but stories about it leaked to the media and she still won’t publicly admit she has a kid. Debarge refuses to talk about his relationship with Janet, but we all know why…the fool probably signed a 200 page document that says he can’t. I liked Janet in her early “contol/rhythm nation” days, but Janet has major problems just like her other siblings and is not a good role model. I give her credit for not saying anything negative about Michael and supporting him, but that’s about it. I think she loved Jermaine Dupree to some extent, but she also saw him as an opportunity to hopefully boost her musical career that was failing. IMHO I don’t think she knows how to love anybody, it’s all about Janet. Michaels kids should not be with her, just because she’s young & had some success doesn’t mean she’d be a good parent. She didn’t even want to raise her own kid. She need help!

@ ATL FINEST, agreed 100%. I personally blame JD for the failure of Janets last album. Jimmy and Terry need to produce for Janet from here on out. It’s fine if others submit songs for her, but ALL production and arrangements need to be done by Jimmy and Terry, period.

Well, I am not too sure what kind of couple they make because they seem different. Opposites attract though. Who knows what worked for them. They just seemed like an odd couple. JD does act a little less mature than Janet maybe it’s for the better.
