Reality Star Gets Plea Deal For DUI Charges

Khloe Kardashian’s best friend Malika Haqq got off easy in her drunk driving arrest after agreeing to a plea deal with prosecutors, BOSSIP has learned.

Haqq pled no contest to one count of drunk driving earlier this year, and a judge sentenced her to three years probation and a $690 fine. The reality star also has to compete a three month alcohol and drug education and counseling program for first time offenders.

A second drunk driving charge was dropped, according to court records obtained by BOSSIP.

She’s due back in court in September, where she’ll have to show the judge that she has paid the fine and completed the substance abuse program.

Cops cuffed the “Dash Dolls” star last year after she crashed her Mercedes on the freeway in Los Angeles on her way home from a party.

Haqq later released a statement apologizing for getting behind the wheel while she was hammered.

“I never imagined I would have to apologize for poor behavior and today I am thankful to be alive to say I’m sorry for my actions,” she wrote on Twitter. “My bruises don’t meet my shame. Learn from the error in my ways…Save others, save yourself.”
