I have random men come up to me and talk to me as if I am supposed to be flattered when they make gross remarks about what they would do to me. Too many times men assume that all women are the same and too many times the view of black women in the media is a vial and negative one. Just look at Superhead..her nick name alone is demeaning but some how this is supposed to be okay. I am not saying take away the eye candy from men. I am just saying do not confuse all black women as being the same. Many of us have server our country, many of us have worked our fingers to the bone and retired at an early age, many of us have never known the struggle or pain of the hood, many of us understand the importance of living and portraying a positive image of the black women for young girls who don’t have role models. Now guys you have to understand that many women are not jealous when they see images of women like this (because most of us look like this anyway)Boys have your toys like I said I am not mad at ya just remember R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
