Regardless of what happens, this is his wife and she was carrying his child. For him to let “her do her thing” would be dispicable and would prove that he never loved her in the first place.

This woman is Giving Birth, Recording & Dropping an album, Relocating and Restructuring her life, Divorcing and Battling her husband (who claims the kid, but isn’t making any efforts to financially or physically be there for him), and WANTS to do this on her own. Kudos to Kelis.

Kelis and her legal team, until recent, had been unsuccessful in trying to contact Nas for WEEKS in regards to Divorcing and Financial agreements, and he ignored them throughout that period – which is why it took an even uglier turn. I’m sorry, but it’s pretty much a slap in the face. People act like they’re above being bitter and sh*t, but most of you probably wouldn’t have it together enough to even deal with being a situation like this… Judging by the way things have gone down between them – why the hell is anyone suprised that she (if this is even true) wouldn’t allow him to witness the birth.
