All those comments from July 2009 stating Mariah would outsell Whitney. Well look at this. Whitney’s album gold after only 5 weeks and Mariah’s album may not ever go gold. Whitney will be looking at platinum 3-4 months after the album’s release while most acts take a year to get there, if ever. What you guys failed to realize is that Whitney has always outsold Mariah on a per-album-basis. Mariah simply released more albums to make up the difference.

Well Lambs…guess the debate is over. Mariah lost this one…big…debut at number three, two flop singles, even after lowering prices and getting favortism on radio airplay, she STILL couldnt pull out a big debut. Whitney sold more in her third week than Mariah on her first. Whit is going to go platinum in about a month, Mariah will probably not get there. Im sure you all are listening to “cant take that away” and crying now.

Who are we to judge? Everyone have issues and no matter what the situation, God is a restorer. I wish the best for Whitney and the cd is great! Instead of throwing stones support her and pray her strength. That could be anyone of us or a family member. Do your thing Whitney, I pray your strength.

This is not about sales. What usually sells is about sex, passing away (MJ) and in Mariah’s case – stupidity. This is about QUALITY OF MUSIC. Noone can doubt the power of I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU, WHERE DO BROKEN HEARTS GO?, HOW WILL I KNOW, MY LOVE IS YOUR LOVE. For these singles alone, Whitney is the greatest vocalist ever. Period.
