@ Mel7 You are incorrect, several of the other siblings admitted to Joe’s abuse, particularly Janet, Latoya(may not be very credible) and Jermaine. They also verified his extreme abuse of Michael in order to keep them out of the poor house. Supposedly, he and Katherine haven’t lived in the same house for years and he denied her a divorce.So while they are still married they have been separated for over 15-20 years. He all but exploited the damn children. Why else would his relationship with Michael as well as other family members be estranged. Wonder why he didn’t have him in his Will, perhaps because he was the best father ever….NOT!! So yes he stayed with his family (when they made money for the family), cheated on his wife, abused his kids- all so that he wouldn’t have to wear those cheap shoes with holes or have someone throw a pity party and provide a lunch for him. He may have gotten Micheal started, but Mike paid the price for it all his life. MEL7 GIVE ME A BREAK!

As far as Joe, he lives in Las Vegas with his other daughter. So Joe actually has 10 children, she was conceived while he was still married to Katherine so that means that he cheated on Katherine. She is like my age, around 30 years.

Anyway, MJ produced and wrote Centipede for Rebbie. In the 90′s she was also on his label when she released her album, Faithfully Yours.

And yes, she and MJ had a good relationship so I think that her raising them or at least being a main person in raising them would be a great thing.

I’ve said this from the get go that Rebbie should get the kids. She has always been the most stable and normal one of the family. With her they’ll be able to live a quiet life out of the spot light unlike with the rest of the family. Janet may have been a good fit too but she’s always in the spot light and that won’t be good for the kids. JMO…….

Mike should have chosen Rebbie from the start. She always seemed the most sensible of the Jackson children.

The abusive started when Michael was a child and they didn’t have a deal. They ALL got spanked. And Michael came out his own mouth and said he got it the LEAST out of all his brothers. He also said he was so fast that his father most of the time couldn’t catch him and would leave him alone.

What people need to realize is that abusive is not only physical. Telling your child that he/she is ugly and picking their features apart – which is something the Jackson kids has accused Joe of doing – is abusive as well. That’s not cool nor acceptable, I don’t care how “successful” they became.

Joe jackson raised his children the way he saw fit..every family does. I personally think he did a great job with 9 kids. I love mike and i also believe that michael just did not believe in spankins/ect… he believe in timeout, oh well.

Rebbie is very pretty. Janet is very pretty. Latoya scares the hell out of me.

What did MJJ want? I tell you, MJJ knew what he was doing by separating himself from the family. Why can’t they do what he asked and wanted. He didn’t wanted to go back to Neverland, yet Jermaine and the father are determined to bury him there. And now, the custody thing, it just seems as if the Jacksons are not taking into account on how MJJ wanted best for his kids .

Rebbie has always been the most maternal of the Jackson siblings so – good call.

I think Janet is a better call, bcz Michael and her always said they tought very much alike so she would probably raise the kids the same way he did.

Plus, Janet and Michael were still very close, so the kids know and love Janet very much, they always wanna hug her.

Then, Janet is the more famous one after Michael, so she knows what it’s like, and she knows how to protect her privacy contrary to Rebbie who has’nt had the same kind of life.

ummm…what’s so DANGEROUS about Rebbie being a Witness. Seems everyone on here agrees BUT you that she would be an excellent person to raise MJ’s kids. Maybe the children should be with someone who has not been in the limelight as much. They need a stable situation so that they can grow up to try to become normal men and women when they grow up. Don’t see nothing wrong with Rebbie getting the children.
