Thomas Weeks III has pleaded guilty to assault charges for whooping his wife’s tail in a hotel parking lot back in August:
Moments after admitting to grabbing his wife by the throat, throwing her down and kicking her on the pavement of a hotel parking lot, Thomas Weeks III turned to Juanita Bynum and apologized to her in open court. The couple then walked out of the Fulton County courthouse together and signaled that their relationship may not yet be over. Weeks pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in Fulton County Superior Court on Tuesday, and was sentenced to three years’ probation. Under the terms of the plea agreement, Weeks must also undergo violence and anger counseling and complete 200 hours of community service that cannot be church-related.
“They are in communication and working on their relationship and the status of their marriage.At the end of the hearing, Weeks turned to Bynum, who had been seated in the second row of the courtroom.”I want to apologize to my wife for all she’s had to go through,” he said. Bynum stood as he addressed her, nodded in response and quietly thanked him. As another condition of his probation, Weeks must have no violent contact with his wife, though the two were allowed to resume communications, which previously had been barred. Wasting no time, the couple appeared on the steps of the courthouse.
Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said during a brief press conference that it was a personal plea from Bynum initiated by Weeks’ grandfather that convinced prosecutors not to pursue jail time for Weeks.
“Many people in her situation would’ve been asking for him to be put in jail,” Howard said, calling Bynum’s request courageous. “I don’t believe my husband is a criminal,” she said. “I don’t believe he is a man who deserves to be put in jail.”According to a police report, Bynum told officers that on Aug. 22, Weeks “choked her, pushed her down, kicked and stomped her … until a bellman pulled him off of her.”
Weeks initially pleaded not guilty to charges of aggravated assault and making terroristic threats.
That domestic violence is crazy and if it happens once, it will usually happen again. Hopefully, in this case it won’t but Bishop Weeks looks like he might still be ’bout it.

I don’t think that she made a good decision. He didn’t slap her (minor offense), but instead choked her, pushed her to the ground, and stomped her. Not to mention the fact that it was in public for the world to see. If she wants to do the Christian thing she should ask that his sentence be minimal, but not take him back!
So here’s the deal, I used to work full time in event photography. I was apart of a 6 man crew responsible for shooting their wedding back on Holy Thursday 4 or 5 years ago on Wall Street here in NYC.
Vera ***** personally made her dress, cake was 15 feet tall, It was at I believe the Regent Hotel if I am not mistaken in a ballroom with 800 people in it. Everything was just so ridiculously over the top and pretentious to say the least.
The most interesting part of the wedding itself aside from airing with Wink Martindale as the host or whatever the guys name was from the Newlywed Game over the prayer network, not even the fact that Juanita herself was over 2 hours late getting ready but the fact she made it a point to show and tell everyone who would listen in the ballroom that every woman should have 2 diamond wedding rings, matching ones like hers, 14 carats she kept saying over and over, one for each hand to see how much your man loves you. I won’t lie and say they didn’t pay upfront and ontime, but it’s amazing to see how even the mighty have fallen, even those who exploit the name of Jesus Christ for their own personal gain. BTW I’m an Atheist.
I would have divorced her and took her for some of that church loot. She seems like she could be a hand full.

I heard him on a few interviews including Wendy Williams. I’m shocked that he plead guilty. Juanita isn’t perfect either. She did accuse her first husband of abuse and was in a mental institution. I’m thinking that she came to him about the junk he has on her. He was looking forward to the truth coming out in court. Just maybe she didn’t want the truth to come out on her. He was saying some stuff about her in those interviews. How she didn’t have a relationship with his daughter, drugs. The husband in him agreed not to expose her. I guess. Before I get cyber-jumped, domestic violence is wrong whether the victim is male or female.

Many people feel as though when you are an amb*****ador for God (Christian) that you don’t have trials. I don’t think she is has holy as she puts on. I can’t put my finger on it but I did see that horrific wedding and I must say, I was in awe. It was the most ridiculous and over the top thing I had ever seen. I got the impression, from watching the HOURS long event, that money and apperance were at the very top of her list. Of course, I could always be wrong, but I don’t think so. Wow…that’s deep. I guess you’re supposed to work on a marriage through thick and thin, but I just couldn’t do it…
This was an humbling experience for Juanita. Sometimes we as people rather be unhappy than alone. As a young woman, I have learned to be happy alone after the end of my three and a half year relationship/engagement which happened to be abusive. It was hard and for the first few weeks. I would call my guy friends over just to hold me at night. Until, my aunt warn me that if i did not plan to have sex, do not allow my friends in my bed, so I stopped. I know the warning signs of a controller/abuser and I quickly cut them off.I can really go threw some dates.I simply replace them. My homegirl saids I give guys a hard time but as a young, single, educated, and ambitious lady, I just cant take no mess. If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything. I don’t discredit Juanita being a powerful woman of God. I serve warning to anyone who has a calling on their life, you are going to have to go threw some things or been threw somethings. God don’t need any jelly back people in his camp. He look for surviors and people that has overcome some situations, someone who have some victories under their belt. So, I say halleluyah anyhow!

For those of you who have never been involved in a domestic violence situation, you have no idea how screwed up psychologically a woman in that situation becomes. She has no belief in her self worth, and the abuser preys on this insecurity to keep her there. It’s very close to how physically/sexually abused children almost ALWAYS side with their abuser.
It still amazes me how much venom is directed towards Christians who have made mistakes. It’s not our place to judge, because truth be told there is not a person on this planet that has lived a perfect life besides Jesus.

According to Juanita’s own video’s she was ready to beat a man down about her husband, and threatened her first husband with a brick. According to some news reports, Weeks was leaving the establishment, and Juanita followed him out, and I doubt seriously she was yelling, ” I love you darling.” Because Juanita is female, I think we often jump to conclusions. People can snap. When Weeks married Juanita, he also became a celebrity, and all people can’t handle that.
