I had a friend who lost a child and she didn’t go the funeral either. (The girl was 5) She didn’t even want to have one, and everyone else was pushing the issue. But it kind of made sense to me; how do you have a funeral for a 4- or 5-year-old? Invite the other kiddies to see their friend in a box? I can’t blame Juvie. I don’t think I could go either. And I would be anywhere doing everything to not think about it. Folks just need to mind their business…

First off, I am not taking up for him. I have two sons and I can’t picture missing graduation let alone a tragic moment like that. But different people grieve differently. Maybe not being there was best for his state-of-mind.

and in regards to some convos i was reading on this blog. ur right…not every one is perfect and we are all struggling to get to a higher level of understanding and a better position with God, but one thing u dont do is brag on the sin u once commited. its not that u are being judged but it does show u havent come as far as u think. preachers will often bring up their past sins, but only when it is being used to teach a lesson of change and elevation. if u arent clubbing after funerals anymore but love to reminiscence on those days..then likely that is where ur heart still is. a new heart will see the wrong in that. i did some trif ***** to when i was younger and i still have my moments and i do consider myself a believer in Christ and a follower of God, i know that no one is better then the next and that even on my best days i am not worthy of Gods love so i try not to knock people across the face with my bible. i do beleive that we can only get better by accpeting our sins as exactly what they are…a sin. somethings arent even sins they just plain triflin and dont add to our character. we all just need to realize that and work on self elavation…cause ur right no one is better then the next. whether they in a club after a funeral, skipping their childs funeral for a show, or in the front pew of the church catching a fake holy ghost. ya dig?

***and fyi i will not be on this blog after i post this..so any silly mess will not be acknowledged.

thats sorry!! he had no problem using the tragedy for some publicity but he cant make it to the funeral? there aint an excuse in the world to not attend the funeral of ur own child…even if u were MIA during her life. i will never support another juvi project again…im from the south and i love supporting down south rappers but u dont do family like that nucca!!

Hell yeah I clubed! So what. I was younger then and I hadn’t come to fully understand the things my grandparents had tryed to teach me. I never said my whole family was holy then thou, like your in entire family is. And I never said my whole family was in the club. Who said we did get together at home. Eat some bar-b-q, talk and reminiscence. We have a good time with family and love ones, but all that comes to a end and people leave and go do thier own thang. Go to sleep, cry all night or, do something that they know the person they just lost would want them to do if they were still there. But until we find God, we might fall down and come short of his glory. You see not everybody comes out the wound bless and free of sin as you were. We make mistakes, and have to ask God for forgive ness. To straighten us up so we can walk the path the he has laid down for us. We do things that are ill to others, and that some may take offence to. But you never had to worry bout that. Everything you do is without sin. You have always made the right choise, never lied, cheated, or even had a bad thought. Only that you get on a web sight and judge others cause they do thing different then you. They like to eat thier french frys plain, but thats not right to you. If theres not ketchup it not right. Who put sugar on grits, it suppose to be salt. Water isn’t wet, it’s just not dry. You celabrate the home going of those you know they way you want to and let everyone esle do there thang. ONCE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I may not be what I want to be, But I’m sure glad I aint what I use to be!
