Most likely, Michael Jackson asked Beyonce to dance with him because he respects her as a performer and knows she that she is talented. Diddy said that MJ came to him at the party looking for Beyonce. No one else. I would be honored if the King of Pop did the same to me. I am a huge Michael Jackson fan and I don’t believe that anyone (or at least most people) are trying to hold Beyonce to MJ’s iconic status. There will only be one Michael Jackson.
