A highly placed source that is familiar with The Game’s publicity strategy to start an artificial beef with Joe Camel, exclusively tells Bossip this is all about career “desperation” and he is just trying to “survive” in a music industry that is dying.
The insider tells Bossip that rappers are using “beef gimmicks” as a marketing strategy and “it’s just not like the old days” when you had real artists who put out good product that could stand up on its own and when there was beef, there was really beef. Jim Jones, 50 Cent, they all are using the gimmick beef as a publicity strategy to trick the kids.”
Bossip is also hearing that Joe Camel is going to fall into the trap and respond to The Game’s recent disses. The suspect beef needs to fall back and we are anxiously waiting for a new group of artists to bring the music back.
