FUBU Entrepreneur Daymond John Proposes To Girlfriend

“Shark Tank” star and FUBU exec Daymond John put a ring on the mother of his six-month-old daughter Thursday, according to Page Six reports:

John’s rep, Zach Rosenfield, told Page Six the FUBU founder and CEO proposed at the start of lunch: “It was the last day of shooting for the season, and he had asked her to come to set.”

“Everyone was very excited and happy for him,” his rep said. “There were streamers and champagne.”

Sounds like quite an event. “Shark Tank” co-stars Barbara Corcoran, Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec and Kevin O’Leary were all on set when it happened. John and Taras’ daughter Minka was also in the building for the big moment.

John gave US Weekly the scoop on the proposal and the 9.5 carat ring emerald cut ring he custom designed for Heather:

“I was a little nervous,” John, 47, says of proposing. “I had to create a speech. I knew a lot of people were looking at me. You know, you never know how someone is going to react, of course. She could always say no, and that’s the first time that I’ve been on the carpet pitching somebody! So, a little nerve-racking, of course.”

The entrepreneur adds that his love “choked up” a little bit, “but she said yes pretty quickly!”

“My daughter was sitting in her lap, so I was looking at my beautiful daughter at the same time,” he adds of the big moment, which was caught on tape for them to revisit. He also tells Us that he explained to Heather in his speech that God had given him everything he needs and that he is “rich with love.”

As for his favorite thing about his new fiancée? “Her calm demeanor,” he gushes to Us.

LOL well that’s unusual. The “Shark Tank” season premiere was Friday night and John is set to co-host this weekend’s Global Citizen Festival.

We didn’t want to go there about his fiancée’s race but… Twitter did!
