I do understand your thinking; however, I refuse to be framed by decisions I made in college as now I’m an adult male that is doing the things you’ve failed at. Your success does nothing unless you are able to make effective social impacts on those that unfortunately haven’t made it. That’s what I do now. I help those younger than me, who may be misdirected, disenfranchised or uninformed, and encourage them to do better and understand that there is more out there they can see and do.

The reason you have not succeeded at helping others is because you have lost your identity and have hidden behind your education – which clearly defines you now. That too is unfortunate because it is a hollow definition of a person at best. Kids and young adults see through that easily and just may not want to be a self absorbed sell out. But keep trying.

Now the reason I’m able to define myself socially and not economically as you have done is because I didn’t grow up economically depressed as it obviously seems you have. My ambition is not, and will never be singular in nature and clearly won’t be defined be how much financial or educational “bling” I how off – like you sadly do. I live and work in the Washington DC area where more than 80% of the black people in a close county have advanced degrees and are complete fools. Their schools are failing, crime is rising, kids going to jail and having babies at a young age and they are sitting there fighting the old “keeping up with the Jones’” fight and displaying their degrees. The fact that Scientology is an expensive, exclusive cult is part of the appeal. The Scientology cult in no different from any high priced, “exclusive” club that makes its members feel “special” by being radically different from the masses. Some wealthy people join Scientology knowing full well that it is a bunch of nonsense, but they like the “cool factor” of being in a non-mainstream religion.

If you have lots of disposable income, you have to dispose of it some way. Some people collect lots of expensive cars and homes. Other people join expensive religious cults.

It’s time for all people to rise up against this. Black and White do you know they’re taking polls asking people whether or not they will vote for Barack Obama based on statements made by his pastor. Not on anything he said himself granted but guilt by association. Have you seen any polls based on whether people will vote fo Hillary based on what her friend of 20 plus years Geraldine Ferraro said about Barack’s race or any of her other surrogates for that matter.

What is going on here since when did Fox News have the right to set the tone for other major media organizations. Why all the sudden is this information coming out now right before such a crucial primary. It was never hidden -in fact the church sells video tapes of it’s sermons and this could have been discussed early -why now? It’s because the Republicans and status quo Democrats are afraid to compete with Obama on the issues. They don’t have the likeability or natural political savvy to go up against him in a fair fight so let’s find some one who’s not running for president to group him with and tarnish him.

Evidentally this is just more proof that they can’t find anything real or substantial that he is done or said that could derail his path to the presidency. This is an opportunity to surpress voter turnout and excitement in a crucial election year for this country. When are we going to rise up and say enough is enough?

It’s time to judge a man on what he does, what he says and not on the fact he’s black, white, his religion, or his associates. If we’re judging Barack on his relationships we need to start looking at all of them.
