Best and Worst Of The Soul Train Awards
The Very Best And Most Terribly Dressed At The Soul Train Awards
Soul Train Awards Bring Out The Best And Worst Of R&B Style
Last night, BET filmed their annual Soul Train Awards and as usual the red carpet offered a wide variety of both dazzling and devastating getups… One of our favorites was Teyana Taylor, who offered up a good deal of skin in this sheer black textured gown.
Tamar Braxton also went the black route and bared a little thigh while doing it. We dig it though. What do you think?
Some of the other ladies got a little more daring, like this year’s returning show host Erykah Badu, who went all out in chartreuse and a fedora along with an ornate fan. Still rather appropriate for her and the event. We wish we could say the same for the rest of the folks in attendance. Hit the flip to see more looks and don’t forget to weigh in in the comments about who looked the best — and the worst– at the show.
WENN
V. Bozeman opted for a colorful look that also included a headwrap. Striking isn’t she?
Le sigh. Jill Scott is a beauty as well, but she definitely had to be going for something thematic. Turns out she was paying homage to Minnie Riperton. Still, there wasn’t a more flattering cut for that? Don’t let us influence you though. If you like it — speak up.
We thought Elise Neal deserved a page all her own.
Soul Train means so many different things to so many different people.
You likey?
When they took their vows… We’re pretty sure that
When the preacher said “For Better Or For Worse”
He wasn’t talking about wardrobe
Some of these folks did clean up rather nicely though
But that’s all up to you guys — and your taste
Some of the talent was a little on the vintage side too… With Bell Biv Devoe
Dru Hill (or half of it anyway)
Tito Jackson
Chanita Foster and Sara Stokes (with their “From the Bottom Up” costar Staci Jae)
Teddy Riley and Wrecks N Effect
Carl Thomas too!
