I’m looking forward to seeing this. I really loved the books.

I’m happy to finally see a black film that does NOT center around a loud crass ignant family somwhere in the deep south awaiting their annual family reunion or their big momma’s funeral!

Finally a film where the characters are well developed & have purpose other than the heroine waxing poetic about her plight in landing the scarce “GOOD BLACK MAN”

Just one thing tho- why jill gotta look so rough? These pics make her look like there aint a MAC counter for miles around!!!

I see no difference in how he looks now to how he looked before. You all should stop lying to yourselves. Idris Elba IS NOT good looking. Never was, and I’m sure, never will be. Glasses or no glasses, beard or no beard, ‘tache or no moustache, dude ain’t cute.

And can folks on this board stop telling other folks what is fine or handsome. If Idris ain’t fine to you — cool. But if other folks think he’s the finest thing GOD ever created, their opinions are just as valid as anyone else’s. Please remember that Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
