I have a problem with the “…if you don’t want anything too serious, then stay with women with no kids” comment.

I have friends with children and I don’t. All of us have a heart and are completely in when in. I think her statement was invalid if a man comes across a woman who decided not to bring another man’s child into a future relationship.

He says it like women without children out of wedlock are playthings and should not be taken as serious or that they are less than women with children.

It almost sounds like she has a insecurity of women without children.

But neither woman deserves to be taken as a joke based on children. There are women with and without children that can’t be taken seriously. Childbearing doesn’t automatically make you more reasonable in a relationship. The child doesn’t mean that you communicate well with a man, are the partner type, or even understand how to balance both a relationship and motherhood.

A single mom can be protective of the same things a woman without kids can. It’s just that one does it for her future child while the other does it for what she’s already had.

Does she think she deserved to be left a single mother by her child’s father since she was not a mother when they were in a relationship? By her own words, she should have only been taken seriously AFTER she had a child. Only she knows if it’s true but, don’t state that women without children are are for test drives.
