Well, Serena’s tirade worked. It reached exactly who she awnted it to reach: Common. She felt he was worth going out on a limb for and he felt she was worth coming back to so it all works out. They’re cute together.

Has Serena Williams found a new doubles partner in Common?

The tennis star and the singer-actor stepped out together over Easter weekend, hitting a West Hollywood nightclub. According to an eyewitness, the pair (who appear together in Common’s latest video, “I Want You”) were “affectionate,” holding hands and kissing during their night on the town.

Reps for both Common and Williams declined to comment on their clients’ personal life.

Common’s cuddly night out also comes just as he’s about to hit the big screen in Wanted with Angelina Jolie – whom he praised as an impressive woman off-screen.

“She has a good heart and she’s a good person,” he said recently at a press day for his other new film, Street Kings. “Within this industry you meet a lot of people that say certain things to you like ‘Yeah, I’ll call you.’ You know they don’t mean it. But everything she was saying she meant and she acted upon.”

Okay, as a like skinned woman i seriously get tired of reading/hearing “thank god she aint yella”. If a light skinned woman dates a light skinned man they want to keep it light, if she dates a white man, she wants it all the way white, if she dates a brown/dark skinned man he gets accused of hating his skin and wanting light babies…So what exactly are us light skinned women supposed to do? I’m going to date who I WANT to date, love who I WANT to love and live MY life…just like serena and common, and just for an FYI everytime I see a white man/black woman relationship, she is nine times out of ten a brown/dark skinned woman. Stop being bitter and self hating
