in reality, it was not a “stripper pole” that Cyrus holding on to… she was dancing/singing while standing on the top of an ice cream cart that had an umbrella attached to it. the umbrella itself had been removed, but the pole portion that the umbrella would have been attached to remained. it was this pole that she was holding on to… i understand that the story is more provocative if they called it a “stripper pole,” but i prefer the truth, not sensationalism.
