Even if her newest stuff isn’t the greatest, you have to recognize her for who and what she is, not a *****ty album. I love Janet to death, and I hope this new album is dope, if not, whatever I’m still a Janet fan regardless.

I heard Janet is going back to her roots with this upcoming album, getting it in with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, which was always the winning formula to her success. As soon as she left them, it was all downhill.

I wish her the best! She is still one of the great entertainers of our time. I just hope she doesn’t break out with that Popcorn/Bubblegum ish. Time for some Grown Folks grooves.

I have to agree with Moni – since she left Jimmy and Terry her albums have gone kind down hill. Being 40 is really no excuse when you have folks like Madonna who is constantly re-inventing herself. Perhaps Janet should take some tips – hate to say that! And where does JD fit in? Couldn’t he help an icon out. Though I did like her Velvet Rope Cd. I think folks are kind of sick of the baby winey voice. I know I am. Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson – but Janet has always been worse. Half the time I’ll wondering what the heck she’s saying. At least Mariah can go deep.
