Typical. It angers me when ANY WOMAN OF ANY COLOR does not know how to care for bi-racial babies hair.

First of all if your kids are mixed with black and have thick, curly hair you need to know that our hair is NOT like the caucasions or Mexicans or Asians! We need grease or some kind of oil on our hair. If you don’t know how to do our hair LEARN! Find someone to teach you, and if you’re too lazy to do that then take them babies to a black beauty salon and let them take care of their hair (not by slapping a perm in it either!!). Please stop cutting their hair off (girls especially)because you don’t know what to do with it or not combing it because you don’t have the patience to sit and detangle it!!!!!! That is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. Saying “I don’t know what to do with it” is no excuse! LEARN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok BLACK FOLKS…let’s b real…baby gurl is cute as a button but that’s just neglect!!!…I just finished combing thru my baby’s hair which hadn’t been combed in a week…it wasn’t nothin’ nice…she was a at point where she was sweatin’ me about combing her hair and she’s 10!!!my mom’s been doin’ hair professionally since she was pregnant w/me and I’m going on 41…there’s times I’ve spent 9 hrs doin’ her hair….I live in MN and there have beeen many bi-racial children that have been brought to my mom’s shop requesting help…it makes a difference in their self-esteem and how they feel about themselves…find a good salon in a urban neighborhood and have them do some deep conditioning to that baby’s hair…it make a difference!

Just take them to a black owned salon, Los Angeles has tons of them. Or better yet, hire one of the many top African-American hairstylists in L.A. to come to your home to do your daughter’s hair. With all the money Kobe has there is no excuse that his daughter’s hair should be looking like that. And you don’t have to use chemicals either. A good shampoo and deep conditioner formulated for the African-American child will do her wonders. Try the Just For Me or PCJ lines. The hair should be detangled in the shower with conditioner and a WIDE Tooth comb or a Denman brush.

Then the hair should be SLATHERED with a leave in conditioner/then a natural oil on top to seal in the moisture. Do not use anything like Pink Oil, Just For Me or any of that other crap that contains MINERAL OIL. Mineral Oil is the DEVIL and DRIES out the HAIR. The best hair oil to use is the African 6 oil, Kemi Oil or any oil that mixes Coconut Oil, Soy Oil, Shea and so on..WITHOUT MINERAL OIL.

Then leave the hair to dry with out touching again, that would control the curls and then she could put on the cute ribbon or headband. To get even more curl control, you can plait the hair while it is wet, take it a loose when dry and voila- Gorgeous natural CONTROLLED curls like Rachel True/Tracee Ellis Ross or just like MOI!

Their is nothing wrong with that little’s girls hair. She is wearing it out, in it’s natural state. Why do black people always put those big ***** and barretts on their kids hair. Especially the kids with two inches of hair. Wear it natural…it will grow, it won’t pull. My daughter isn’t mixed but she has hair like kobe’s little girl and I don’t put those damn ***** on her head or multiple colorful barretts that ***** looks ridiculous. I rather her wear her hair out with some conditioner. And his kids are cute, the ones talking mess I would like to see pics from your childhood.

You childish grown people,and you wonder why kids tease other kids.They get it from home.How dare you call these beautiful little girls ugly?Stop being so vain!!Worrying about hair and self-esteem;what about name calling and self-esteem?Their hair is absolutely gorgeous.Why is hair such an issue for Blacks? Women of all races wear perms,weaves,and haircolor.My hair is natural,long and beautiful.Is it a crime if I want to wear a shorter wig(don’t want cut my hair)? or blow dry my hair(oh now I want to be white)? ***** you Bossip. Maybe the litle girl wanted her hair like that for the day. My three year old sometimes wishes to wear rain boots on a hot summer day (I let her wear them) does this mean that I don’t know how to dress my child? She also likes her hair to be just loose and curly hanging down her back, which I let her do sometimes. I am beginning to understand more and more that Bossip’s job is to create controversy.

And for you idiots who say there is nothing wrong with the child’s hair, you must be blind. Of course there is nothing wrong with natural kinky hair, but it must be cared for, washed, conditioned, moisturized, and COMBED properly. The younger child looks like that mexican ***** has never put a comb through it. Ay dio!

What wrong with using some hair grease and a damn strong brush and putting her hair into a braided pony tail ? And a child’s relaxer wouldn’t hurt her hair, lol…
