Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon is featured on the cover of the upcoming issue of Jet Magazine and discusses her decision for posing nude in Playboy at the age of 40 and being pregnant back in July:
“I knew I was trying to get pregnant, I said who knows how my body will look, maybe we should document this now. I wasn’t doing this for anyone other than to prove I could do it. Then they offered the cover, which they don’t normally do for Black women. That made it
credible.
If there’s one woman who can work it, it’s Garcelle – she’s just got it like that.

Some mixed kids look like they ARE mixed, and others do not. I am of Asian descent and in my family’s circle, interracial marriages have been somewhat common (almost all to white people). Did it ever occur to you that white men love dating black women. You assume that the black woman is pursuing white men. I am single and date a lot, every white man I have dated approached me first (not that anything is wrong with the woman making the first move). I just want to point out that a lot of comments here assume we black women are chasing after white men. Black women respond very positively to a man that is attracted to her, that dotes on her, a man that is truly into us in everyway. That is as long as he has his stuff together too. That is why most of us now date both white and black, and marry whichever happens to be the better of the two. Its not because he is white or black, its because we think a lot of ourselves and so we want men that think the world of us as well.
And the twins featured on Jet are cute little tykes. Like most babies their features are a nice combination of dad and mom. Congrats to the new parents!
