I think someone said it earlier that she used this same story while she was in other states so how is it suddenly that she misspoke. Also how did she misspeak a whole story that was the complete opposite of what happened that day? Lastly I’m sure they would not have flown that woman to Bosnia knowing that there was some type of threat there. Lies! What kills me is how the media is not blowing this up like they did about Obama’s pastor.

WOW!! It’s amazing how a few years/months can change so much in a presidential race. As you recall, back in 2004-2006 Hillary was claiming that she had no aspiration to ever be President and had no plans of ever running for President, certainly not as early as 2008 she said. Now fast forward 2 years later, she’s supposed to be #1 contender(democratic), well that was she thought until this unknown young black guy from Illinois came on the scene. In the beginning, i’m sure her and her campaign just laughed and shrugged Obama off. Then he started to talk and they(Hillary and Co.) listened and said damn, a brother actually speaks like that. Then he started raising campaign funds at a record pace and amount and they(Hillary and Co.) said damn, who in the hell does he know that’s giving up that much dough. Then, the black people that once supported Hillary(and there was a large number, more than care to admit, I was one) started to listen this brother and his wife and they(Hillary and Co.) said damn where in the hell did this guy come from. Ever since then, they(Hillary and Co.) have no idea and no clue how to get rid of this dude. They tried the ‘No experience’ thing, they tried the ‘Rev. Wright’ thing, but to no avail. The Hillary camp is all but over, but this is politics people, we have to wait and see when it’s all over. In the end, I honestly believe that Obama is the best candidate period. Hillary had her chance, but over the last few months, even if she won the nod to run against McCain, I have lost so much respect and confidence in her, that I wouldn’t even exercise my right to vote.

In other words, there was still a line of defense for Obama even with the media onslaught. Flip the script to Hillary Clinton who has been caught in an out and out lie and where are her supporters? They are hiding because there is no rational excuse for a person is asking the American public to ‘hire’ her as President and to then be shown to have padded her resume. As I posted the night Hannity was confronted about Turner, the evidence conflicts with Hanniy’s claims. Now Turner has confirmed their friendship and their sympatico views in a blog post called, “About Sean Hannity and Me. . . . . Last Wednesday (3/19/08), Hannity & Colmes guest Malik Shabazz asked Hannity, in response to his continual attacks on Barack Obama regarding his pastor, “Are you to be judged by your promotion and association with Hal Turner?”

Hannity at first denied knowing Turner, then asserted that Turner was someone running a campaign in New Jersey whom Hannity had banned from his radio show. Then in what sounded like a tacit admission to me, Hannity told Shabazz, “I’m not running for president.”

Two nights later (3/21/08) on Hannity & Colmes, Hannity professed to be saddened by the racial divisiveness engendered by the controversy about Obama and his pastor. But Hannity seems to have directly participated in far more divisiveness than Obama. Please write Hannity and FOX News and demand that Hannity come clean about his own associations before he continues accusing Barack Obama about his.

UPDATE: Please see the comments at 2:07 PM today (3/23/08), signed by Phil Boyce, Program Director of WABC, Hannity’s radio station, disputing many of the facts, especially the dates, in Turner’s account. However, as I noted in my responding comment at 3:11, the real issue is what was Turner allowed to say on the air, how often and what was Hannity’s reaction? We have an article in a national magazine plus one of the parties involved who say that Hannity was a welcoming, friendly and encouraging host for Turner’s views for a good while. Neither Boyce nor Hannity has specifically denied that.

Thanks much. Just trying to be fair to more than one side, since certain people’s own agendas seem to prevent them from doing so.

Den, you’ve raised some interesting points, and as someone across the pond,it’s been fascinating to watch what’s been happening from a distance.

I don’t think that you are the only black person by any means who would vote for a person with the qualities and abilities of Barack Obama had he been a white man. From this end, not so very long ago, there were some very interesting news reports slamming on and on about the fact that black Americans were not going to vote for this man for all manner of reasons, and writing him off without producing a shred of evidence as to why he was less worthy than the other candidates.

Well recent events have shown things in a slightly different light, I think…

As for those with the rose tinted glasses hearkening back to the “good ol’ days” when Bill was in, that’s nothing new. We have the exact same thing over here, with many who were no fans of Blair now looking at the current calamity that is the Brown government and thinking perhaps “things weren’t as bad as we thought when Blair was around”. Looking back to a past that often never was as comforting and cosy as we see it to be in the present is a universally human trait!

As for me, not being able to cast a vote now or “back then” I’m enjoying watching what is happening in these elections, and coming from an international perspective find what is happening with Mrs. “Far More Experienced With Foreign Policy Including Bosnia” Clinton, very interesting!

Thanks much for the international perspective, I found it very interesting. Regarding the “good ole days”, here’s the thing: It’d be different if people were dissatisfied with the Clinton administration at the time, and then later began to miss it – like in your example with the Blair regime. However, many of the people I’m mentioning were happy DURING the Clinton administration AND AFTER it – citing how well the country was doing. Clinton’s approval rating when he left office was in the mid-60′s, which is VERY high for a President leaving office. Then, once the current nimrod, aka George W. Bush, took office, much of the country longed to go back to the times of the Clinton era.

ONLY NOW do we have this number of folks un-writing history & referring to the Clinton’s as “shady” and “no good”, etc. Some of these folks, though they’d never admit it now, are some of the VERY folks who were longing for the days when the budget was balanced under Bill, and are NOW SUDDENLY singing a different song, now that Barack the brother is running. Barack is a great man & has the potential to be a great leader, but I just find it interesting the way perceptions of others change, when someone with the same skin tone comes along.

Thanks much for sharing your impressions, I appreciate it. While I agree with so much about what you said about Barack, I think you misread me in terms of the Bill vs. Hillary notion. In other words, the only reason I used the term “Shady Clintons” instead of “Shady Hillary” when I was making my point, is because that’s a term the I read certain folks using! It’s not my term, and I’m MORE than aware that Hillary is nothing close to her husband, as a candidate. So I’m not, in any way, coming from a place of sexism or from a place where I perceive them both to be running.

My point was, simply based on the fact that now that Barack (a person with more black in him than any of the other candidates we know of) is running, certain black folks suddenly have changed that tune from even the BILL Clinton positivity. No longer are they heralding the great President that he was. Nor are they separating the 2, like you are, by saying that Bill is great & Hillary is shady. Instead, they’re making it a combo & touting them both as the “Shady Clintons”, etc. Hence, my issue.

Now Chelsea shows she is in on the “non of your business” brand of politics too. Sorry Chelsea, it is the people’s business when it happened in the oval office and our votes put your dad there.

I’ve been saying for months that Chelsea is being groomed as part of this Bush-Clinton dominion. She is not innocent and she is 100% aware of and down with her parent’s shady politics. Chelsea is a well trained enabler.

So when the Clintons are asked questions they don’t like or make them uncomfortable, they get to dismiss people with lies, denials or the new Clinton family classic “its none of your business”. Truth avoidant at its best.

A lot of it is smokesceen though because she will be conceding very soon. I think Billary’s trying to hustle a saving face plan as we speak. They know they can forget VP so they’re trying to figure out an exit strategy that will suit their ego.

The only thing Hillary can do to redeem what’s left of the Clinton legacy is to concede and apologize.

Hillary wasn’t just using political strategies her tactics were vile, wreckless and destructive. She used her influence to become an ally to Obama, then try to get him not to run. But as a good psychopath will, she continues to track her victim… It’s now time to incite the blood thirsty posse. The slack jawed yokels go after him pitch forks in hand. Their victims are any one who looks like him, sees through her lies or dares to side with the truth. They even terrorize the innocent supporters, his wife and finally, his church before the masses say enough is absolutely enough you wicked….

It all ends with Obama taking the stand and moving America with his heart felt imagery that tells a truth so reflective that it gives the masses it’s first look in years at the still hideous reflection it turned a blind eye to long ago.

I feel like we are in a modern version of our country during the civil rights era. It’s important to witness who his casting themselves in what roles.

Who’s marching, who’s attacking those peacefully working for change, who’s refusing to sit at the back of the bus, who’s joining the Klan, who’s burning crosses, who’s working hand in hand across race and color, who’s intergrating and walking that long road to the front door of the school (white house) while being heckled.

Who would of thought Hillary to cast herself not as an Eleanor Roosevelt type figure but as a careless simpleton and perpetuator of white female victim pathology crying “rape” to alarm, win the favor of and win the “protection” of her male counterparts. And in Hillary’s case–creating an “enemy” where there isn’t one to win the (public) affections of a philandering husband.

Hillary’s attacking Rev. Wright and putting the Trinity Baptist Church under scrutiny was so beyond thoughtless and irresponsible, especially given the history of this country’s past violence against commnunity organizing black churches.

Although it is obvious that the Hillary Camps intentions were of a maniacal brand, we are lucky if she bows out gracefully. Up until this point her actions show of someone who is completely obsessed with the primary.

I think there is more in store. She may just try to find a way to sabotage the democratic race completely, this is the same person that stole two states illegally (Michigan and shady palms Florida). This is also the person who tried to take Obama out of the race by boosting up the GOP candidate.

In the game of chess even when both players can see a win in 10 moves, because each move will have to be executed perfectly to finish the match it usually must play out.

Hillary sees the inevitable but if she concedes in 4 moves I would be amazed. She is a proven crazed fanatical zealot for the supreme office. Campaigning is her cracky addiction. Look at what would have to happen for her to bow out gracefully…

-Admit to her wrong doings in this campaign (Not going to happen this story proves it…

-Dismantle the campaign lies that threaten Obama (she would have to admit to being responsible not going to happen.)

-Apologize to Obama and the victims (Lack of integrity will not allow her to do so publicly.)

-Break ties with her shady sidekick campaign manager (Maggie the Maggot Williams) If she was smart she would blame her for everything and walk away. But Maggie has enough dirt on her to keep her from making any less than loyal moves.

-Endorse Obama, highly unlikely but necessary to regain any belief that she is a democratic team player who just got caught up in winning.

-Campaign on his behalf (laughable we are better of with out her)

- apologize to the voters (This will happen of course but in vain if the previous is outstanding.)

It would be great to see an admirable side in this shady character but the probability is low because that change will not come from with in. Till this day she still makes shady comments about how Obama should have denounced his church.

But truth be told if she doesn’t complete at least this list she is washed up in Presidential politics. I for one wouldn’t vote for her any way.

She will have to just write a book or take on a cause just like the rest of the previous presidential losers.
