Dre was encouraged to go back to gangsta rap by, of all people, his wife, Nicole, who must’ve had self-esteem problems. Ro writes: “Dre explained, as a man with daughters, he wanted to respect women. She told him to go back to hardcore raps about bitches and ho’s.”
