I mean, I’m glad that these kids will have a better life here than they would have back in Africa but Madonna wasn’t thinking about no African kids until Angelina Jolie did it. Angelina has always been a humanitarian, traveling to Africa and helping people there. Madonna, not so much. But like I said, at least they won’t grow up in poverty so I’m happy about that

HOWEVER I do question the motives of these celebrities jumping on the new wave of adopting kids form afar because let’s be real the amount of money she spent on getting those two could have helped DOZENS of childrens without homes in Malawi finding new homes IN Malawi. She ‘saved’ two when she coulda saved DOZENS!

I think its great…she will probably be a good role model and teach these kids free will, how to think for themselves and philanthropy. Something most Black folk don’t know NOTHING about.

As long as her heart is filled with love for these kids and she educates about their Africa heritage, I see nothing wrong with her adopting Black kids. I have kids of my own. Many kids in the states need a loving home, so I would like to adopt someday.

Madonna always wanted black kids and sin’t nothing wrong with that. It’s more black kids in foster homes than whites. If white people want to adopt them than let them! I think it’s very generous of her to do that. At least she aint no snobby white lady who looks down on others. She has a good heart and what she’s doing takes work. I love Madonna and commend her for trying to make a difference in others lives!

I read somewhere that Guy Ritchie did not want their son, Rocco, in pictures with Madonna. I don’t know about Lourdes, but she’s a big girl now and probably hanging out with her friends. These two are the babies which is why Madonna & Jesus have them.

Sometimes, I think that some people adopt children from other countries cuz they would not pass whatever psych exam was involved. I still think Angelina Jolie is crazy and over the last couple of years, it appears that Brad Pitt isn’t far behind.

I grew up in the era of Madonna and she was a big deal for many years as I was growing up. I like the picture and its too bad that people dont consider its a blessing those children were adopted by one of the richest female entertainers of the world. Say what you want but this chick mastered at marketing herself and made millions doing it with her shock and controversial shows and topics. Now think two children who happen to be lucky enough to be adopted in a wealthy family. The best the world has to offer as far as education, material things. Those kids will not want for anything. God bless Madonna for adopting these poor African children from a life of misery in Africa. At least, they are living in a home with a loving parent getting meals three times a day, and more. They are being clothed, not having to wear the same thing everyday. They are being bathed everyday. They get to sleep in a bed of their own. They are getting medical care. They are enjoying experiences that they would have never dreamed of in a life time(to travel on a boat, or an airplane, to buy their own toys, to pick their own clothes, to own a pet). They are no longer living in an orphanage.
