Widener, Arkansas Mayor Abron Pitts was charged on Saturday night for DWI and public drunkenness. While being arrested, he confessed:

“I drinks! You understand that. I don’t deny. I’m not going to deny I hadn’t had one beer or two because it’s the weekend.”

Mayor Pitts was also cited for driving without insurance. This dude here, he takes the “Crackhead Mayor” stereotype to a whole new level. And to think, he’s Widener’s first Black mayor.
