Oh Ma God! Remy Found Guilty on Four Counts

The verdict just came down in the Remy Ma trial, and the rapper has been convicted on four major charges — two counts of first-degree assault, attempted coercion, and criminal possession of a weapon.

The charges stem from a 2007 incident in which Remy shot a friend of hers after a fight over $3,000 in cash stolen from Remy’s purse. The defense tried to make the shooting an accident — but it looks like they didn’t quite convince the jury.

Remy was not found guilty of gang assault and witness tampering, among the nine total charges she faced. We’re told the victim’s friends and family taunted Remy when the verdicts were read — full pandemonium in the courtroom.

Remy could face up from five to 25 years in prison at sentencing.

Was it because the people involved in the latter case were Black women or is it the hip hop element? Why weren’t we gunning for a guilty verdict in the OJ trial for a much more serious charge?

What she did was dumb though..she should’ve just whupped that chicken head’s azz and called it a day.

That guilty verdict brings out the punk in every thug. She could have just whipped the girls ass, snatched up her pocketbook and verifed if the girl really took her money. Ain’t no guns in jail, now she gots to defend herself with her hands. She should have thought about her children and acted accordingly. I feel sorry for them. And she still didn’t retrieve her dough and no telling what the lawyer charged. What is street cred when your kids have to be without their mom?

Why is it that the female rappers get convicted and go to jail while the male rappers get off for every illegal stunt they pull. There is something to be said about sexism in this country and especially in hip hop music.

Another black thug off the street. I hope authorities continue to clean up the streets and fill the jail up with these animals. I don’t see why she was crying, this is the same person with the whole gangster rap mentality, this goes to show, don’t believe what these rappers say, they are just as scared as anyone when it comes to going to jail. I am glad another criminal is behind bars.
