I love O but the things that she is doing with this in my eye is wrong she is trying to say with this new wav christian stuff that there is no sin there is no salvation and there is no god but in ourselves. and if she did believe in him when she gets to his door she SHALL BE Turned Away Form His Greatness. she will bust hell wide open forherself and everyone who will believe in thi mess. they are trying to take the bible out of its context. wake up you so call christians of God and unite against this mess. we dont have to hate but when something is so wrong as a christian we must take action. If anyone has ever listened to Oprah talk about her childhood, she had it pretty damn rough. Repeatedly raped by people in her family, made to sleep outside the house like a dog, because she was “the dark one”, so I can understand if she doesn’t identify with a higher power in the sky. She made it where she is today on her own accord…let her be herself.

what is christainity the believe in Jesus Christ well if you dont acknowledge which she does not ever say anything about him so is she really a christain are is she just say it to be more likeable by people. When is this idiotic American culture, and (most of the world for that matter) going to realize that religion is a cult, all of it. It spreads guilt and shame and is based on fairy tales.

Oprah does not believe Jesus Christ is the only way to God and she has managed to reduce Jesus to a mere man who has managed to obtain Christ-like qualities.

This New Age religion she is promoting, teaches that through good deeds, meditation, positive thoughts etc everyone can become God-like.

In my opinion what she fails to understand is that no matter how much money we give away, no matter how many needy people we help, we are all sinners and it’s through the Grace of God that we are forgiven.

Grace is simple, not complex. With grace, there is no guilt, there are no extra-biblical expectations, there are no comparisons, there is no puppet-master. Instead there is admonishing, teaching, loving, and forgiveness. This is what God showed me about Grace and He showed it to me most of all through his Son’s work on the cross.

By grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast (Eph. 2:8-9).

Organized religion is the cause of many of society’s problems and the practices of organized religion are mired in hypocrisy.

Organized religion is nothing more than tradition and superstition.

I know that i’ve said alot but theres more. i’m 31 yrs i was raised in a penticostal church which believes only God’s word and nothing else. mother real mother gave me away my step mother abused me than gave me back to my real mother who than put me around people who sexually abused me. I TRUST AND HAVE FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST BECAUSE HE HAS brought me through this earthly hell so I wont go to that burning hell. We all have been through something O is not the only one.

There is no such thing as Jesus, give me a break, heaven and hell, lol. That is crazy. Look at it objectively.

Look at you ignorant people. Have you guys tried listening to Oprah’s show. These people are correct. she does not believe in God and her spin on the Bible is ridiculous, laughable at times. The real funny thing is: Oprah can care less about you black people that are defending her. She rarely hires blacks, i have been to her show, all the producers are white and the few black people i saw were the custodial staff. Sure she gives to Africa and Charities, but smart people know that is used for tax exemption. Let me not stray from my point,before you guys criticize people, look at both sides, and i have heard Oprah go far right about the Bible, try reading people, that’s all it takes, read before you post your stupid responses.

I wasn’t trying to “speak” for religion when I spoke about my OWN PERSONAL experience with growing up… I was just throwing my 2 cents in as usual. But I can understand how that might have come off the wrong way.

I just think that whether Opra believes in God, doesn’t believe, worships the devil or WHATEVER….To each their own, and who are we to say otherwise?

Again that’s just my opinion, just like everyone else.
