No More Home School…MJ’s Kids May Be Going to a REAL LA School

Bossip has learned that Katherine Jackson may be putting her three grandchildren in private school instead of keeping up with home schooling.

Michael Jr., Paris, and Prince may be attending the Buckley School, a private school that teaches some of LA’s elite children. Many of the Jackson family children have attended the school including Tito’s children. In fact Tito’s wife, who is deceased, served as the president of the teacher’s association at the well known private school.

While Katherine is a huge fan of the school and its security, she may have problems getting her grandchildren into the school seeing as classes start on Wednesday and the school is harder to get into than an LA club on a Friday night. The school only has 750 students enrolled at a time to ensure small classes and a better learning environment.

One thing is for sure if name dropping never served a purpose anytime before it sure does now! We’re sure the kids will have no problems getting into any school of their choice. Former Buckley alums include Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton and the Kardashian sisters.

  • !!!!!R.I.P MIKE!!!!!

OK ITS PRIVATE MY BAD I COMMENTED BEFORE I READ THE WHOLE ARTICLE.

  • seriously?

they’ll have no problem getting in. having a social life will be good for them

  • AWWWWWWWWWWWWSHADDAAAAAP!!!!

Did y’all place a bet to see how many times you can include the word ‘school’ into one article?

  • darealwifey

That’s Papa Joe Jackson’s decision right there. He said those kids were going to be put in a REAL school like a week or so after MJ died. Please believe that Daddy Joe is back in the picture, which is a damn shame. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks of him. The fact of the matter is that MJ had MAJOR issues with his father more than anyone else in the world, and I bet he would be HORRIFIED if his dad has a hand in raising those children.

I pray for those kids because human beings can be AWFUL. They used MJ, and people will try to use his kids.

Hopefully this goes well for these kids.I really think they need to be exposed socially to kids their own age.Being in close contact with cousins is not a BIG social interaction. They seem to strong to me and whatevr might happen at school-getting bullied or teased-they can easily brush it off.Their father went through worse than they might even face in their lifetime.Possibly a good life experience for them.

  • imjustsayintho

i agree thy should get that school expierence and that social expierence but its only been like 2 almost 3 months their wounds are still fresh. we really dont know how these kids are coping being we only seen them in public once since they daddy death.idk hope this is a good move if ms. jackson see that they adjusting to school and they like it fine keep them there, if otherwise i think she should pull them out and give them more time.

I wish the kids the absolute best. I was concerned for them when I learned (on some TV show) the sheltered life they lived. They literally being raised to be as reclusive as MJ. Personally, I don’t find that healthy at all. School will be good for them!

  • gg

NOW THEY WILL HAVE A REAL LIFE. GOOD LUCK AND BEST WISHES TO THIS FAMILY..

  • Bohwe

I was a MJ fan , not his kids. Basically I don’t care about how MJ kids are raised. That has no bearing on my life.

  • me

i went to buckley. as a the article says, a lot of celebrity kids went there and there is definitely less bullying than at most schools and it still is very sheltered. i still think its a bad idea though – considering all the speculation going on about these kids real father and other nonsense, it would be impossible to protect them from it if they went to any school. i think they are too young to have to deal with all of this. i think they should remain home schooled until things settle down and they don’t have to face so much. especially considering this will be their first time around other kids – its just bad timing.

  • Liya

I went to Buckley too! The one in S.O

It’s not hard to get into at if you have lots of money and good test scores.

Really, all you need is the money or a famous parent. It’s about $30,000 a year. They would take in MJ’s kids in a heartbeat.

You really don’t need to be smart, Paris Hilton and the Kardashian sister went there…….

  • Nia nia

Hopefully this will be good for them. but please don’t let them turn out like none of those girls that were mention because they are menaces to society.

  • hope4more

I don’t think that they will have anymore problems than other kids like in South Central. There was a school in Inglewood when I walked in to enroll my daughter kids were bouncing off the walls. She looked at me and I looked at her and walked the hell right out and put her in a school on Wilshire Boulevard. They will have cousins that will go there too , and I doubt that this expensive school or parents want papa Joe to have to come up there and get in their ass.

  • tt

I don’t think they should send these kids to public school right now. They need to continue home schooling them with the same tutors they had while with MJ. It is way too early for a big change like that and they are probaly still adjusting to life w/o MJ their dad. Too many Trifling kids running around schools these days with diarrea at the mouth and some adults too. I am pretty sure they already have friends around the area were their grandma lives and they have their cousins.

  • Bohwe

Just raise the kids the way MJ did and wanted, and call it the day, or just give the kids to Diana Ross. This may not even be true, considering half the stories out there are lies.

  • !!!!!R.I.P MIKE!!!!!

LET THEM GO THE SCHOOL IM GLAD THEY ARE AND SO IS KATHERINE AND REBBIE AND OTHERS THEY NEED A SOCIAL LIFE AND MOMMA KATEY NEEDS A BREAK.

  • http://julietrends.blogspot.com Sweet little thing

moma catherine knows what to do so you shut the fukc up

  • really?

***Former Buckley alums include Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton and the Kardashian sisters.***

That’s 3+ reasons NOT to send your kids there. Elite doesn’t mean better. I can’t believe they’re still accredited.

  • Pretty Girl

good for these kids. they have a chance at normalcy.

  • Unbought_and_Unafraid

Joe’s gonna break out that belt the way he did 40 years ago … one boy on base, the other on lead guitar and the girl as singer … he made the J5, don’t count him out he’s still got it ….

  • Debbie

Joe is like every other Black daddy was 40 years ago. Big deal.

Buckley is a good school, Thank Goodness. Weird location though, in a fully residential are, have to drive real slow down the block, I imagine the paps will harass real easily.
