The artist that used to be known as Michael Jackson may return to the stage:

“Michael Jackson, whose fortunes financially and theatrically have trickled down, was offered $35 mil. To some this is hardly decent money, but since he’s in hock and bankrupt and borrowing and semibusted, the amount is not really an insult, right? The deal calls for him to re-emerge. In Person. And do his “Thriller” shtick. Not on video. In the flesh. In London’s Millennium Dome, which seats 20,000. Should it work, should he be a hit, should the thing go, should he be able to sustain the pressure, should he sell out, he’d get another 20 nights. Promoters are asking – is he broke enough to go back onstage live?”

Who knows? This could turn his family fortune around. Not likely though. On the plus side, Michael should have no trouble at all reprising the role of the Thriller. He won’t even need to use any additional make up.
