Red Light for the Wayans Studio Plans

Due to conflicts with the port of Oakland, a major kink has been put in the the Wayans Brothers’ big plans to build a studio. Click here for more details.
We wish them luck in this endeavor, but we hope they step up their screenplay skills. A word of advice: Kill all that Amos ‘n’ Andy bullsh*t.

Blonde actresses act dumber than they are to disarm producers and the public and get ahead. They are in a sense exploiting themselves for a gain using stereotypes everyone is too willing to buy into. But in the end, they are getting checks,and checks,and checks…
The Wayans dont seem dumb to me, but they also dont seem “above” exploiting stereotypes for money. I’m not condoning it, but I’m observing that they use whatever they know the public will buy into, exploiting black, white, and various other stereotypes (see all their spoof movies: scary movie, etc.). whatever makes a buck.
I dont see this as a shuffle/coon/stoop, but a clever way of making that ***** work for them.

Wether or not you like their movies, we can’t be mad at a Black man or in this case a family making a bold move. As said before, not many, if any, can say they own a studio. These guys are stepping it up. Every one else want’s a clothing line or a record label, props for thinking outside the box. And as far as crying “Coon” even Halle Berry made Baps.
