29 year old Jaycee Lee Dugard returned to her family after she was abducted 18 years ago.
Jaycee, who was kidnapped at age 11 by a sex offender, was enslaved in a cluster of sheds in a backyard that was hidden within a larger backyard. She was raped and impregnated with two children by her offender before he was arrested this week. Jaycee was held captive by Phillip Garrido, 58, and his wife Nancy Garrido, 54, of Antioch, CA who will be arraigned Friday. Both have admitted to kidnapping Jaycee Dugard.
As for her children, they have never had outside contact with the world unlike Jaycee who was seen passing out flyers at the University of California, Berkeley, campus. That is where campus police ran a background check on Phillip after they saw him acting suspiciously towards his other children who were handing out religious literature on the campus as well.
After running the report, campus authorities saw he was a registered sex offender, raising them to seek out more information on him which ultimately led to the finding of Jaycee. Jaycee Dugard was released to her family yesterday after a long time coming.
