She REALLY Loved that Dog

Oprah’s dog recently died and went to doggy heaven. Now she’s going to dedicate a show to the bitch:
“Oprah Winfrey is dedicating her Friday talk show to her cocker spaniel Sophie, who recently died of kidney failure at the age of 13.
‘Sophie gave me 13 years of unconditional love. She was a true love in my life.’”
On the real, Oprah goes that EXTRA mile for the people (and creatures) she’s down with. So the question must be asked: How can one be down??

Awww, I didn’t know Sophie died. Well, I can empathize because on Oct. 2oth, my 18 year-old cat Niles, had to be euthanized and I cried like a baby in front of the vet while he was giving him the lethal injection…LOL, wish I had a show to dedicate to my Nilesy-pooh.

She loves her dog too much. I’ve seen her album at the wealthy club wealthychats com a few weeks ago. All her photos are taken togehter with her dog. What a dog fans.
Must be nice to be so damn rich you can spoil this ***** out of your dog! There are alot of kids that don’t get taken care of as well as her dogs. I would hate but she does so much other ***** for people so I can’t say a damn thang!

animals ill. it bugs me when i see people letting a dog lick all on their faces or let a child hand be licked or have the dog all up in a house, or even worse in the effin kitchen. what is happenin? people who bring pets on planes never should be able to sit on the plane instead put them in with the cargo since they animal lovers and all.
LOL @ da darkness. I agree, while in Florida, we went to visit a friend with a dog, that damn Lab was all over me, licking my hand and jumping up trying to lick me on my face. I nearly had a heart attack because I was sooo grossed out…especially when I saw the dog licking it’s butt earlier. WTH, I was like “can you put the dog outside”? While they’re laughing talking about “she’s so playful, she likes you”. Yeah whatever… Of course, I had to promptly proceeded to wash my hands w/antibacterial soap. I’ll pet a dog, but don’t try that licking ish…
Oprah’s pets are so lucky!!! I know how she feels, I love my dog too.
When you accept a pet into your life you become responsible for them and it is your responsibility to give them a good life. If you’re not capable of giving yourself like that, you have no business owning a pet!
I love that she appreciates her animals. Sophie was adorable and why do people always say there are children that need that love…well she can only do so much.

Don’t get mad at the pet owners that can afford to take care of their pets better than you take care of your child.

i know how oprah feels…kinda. i have 2 cats that i adore to death. my boy cat had a kidney failure scare a few weeks ago, and the thought of that life not being in my house, made me cry like a baby. how can you not like mute people with fur? PETS ROCK!!!!

I feel Oprah on this one because my beloved Jessie died of Kidney Failure and I miss her dearly. If I had a show I would dedicate it to Jessie as well!!!
Oprah has been extremely fortunate and blessed in her career. Especially when you consider some of the things she has experienced. And more importantly, with her success she gives back. She has even found was for others to be charitable.
That being said, who’s going to tell her she can’t spoil her dog(s)? For whatever reason she has decided she doesn’t want childrent, they are hers and she can have them. Maybe the parents of those kids who wanted to beat up the teacher should have thought twice.

KOMPTON KUTIE, in case u haven’t heard, OPRAH is the ONLY person footing the bill for ALL the young girls who attend THE OPRAH WINFREY LEADERSHIP ACADEMY in SOUTH AFRICA! She is the ONLY person who PAYS for their schooling, room & board, uniforms, etc. AND has pledged to pay for their COLLEGE! So, if u’d open your EYES and SHUT your MOUTH for a minute, u’d CLEARLY SEE that she’s ALREADY “adopted” quite a few children!! But what have YOU done for the GOOD of children? THAT’S the MORE IMPORTANT question!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Oprah to death but I feel she needs to adopt some children and give/receive unconditional love in that sense. I am truly amazed how people try to humanize animals.
Go on O. Sophie deserves to be profiled on your show. As somone else wrote, dogs are just like children. I always say they are like perpetual two-year olds.

again another lost black woman, ask your self this bossip clan, why hasn’t Ms Winfrey devoted 1 hour to raising a child, you see it’s all good to give loads of cash, hell i do it too, but Ms. Winfrey, take some time to change a diaper, comb a lil black girls hair, wake up in the middle of the night and tend to even an adopted child, hell no she wont, what we will see ,is a white celeb go and adopt a hand full of black kids, again showing us just how screwed up we are as a people, Oprah is rich?, yes, welll liked? yes willing to spend money on schools? yes donate shows to a dead pet? yes, lova a black child personally or any child personally for that matter… Pray for that Woman yall, she need prayer not more money and groupies….
