I havent either but it doesnt mean black kids are a model of virtue when they are out in the store. I was at WalMart not too long ago and this little black boy was spraying the whole area with air fresher. All in everyone’s face. You know black American children are probably the most corporally punished children in America. Do they grow up, as adults, more disciplined? Hell they dont. I will be happy when black females have less children. They are woefully equipped to prepare adults, especially adult males to be functioning human beings.

First of all that child looks to big to be on a leash, to drag him in a store like this on public it does make me think how is this child being treated at home… I do think a parent should have the right to discipline there children without the laws sat so but there are many woman that are choosing to have children for whatever irresponsibile reason that does not have the patience for this position of parenthood… This woman probably has very dysfunctional ways of dealing with her child… I do think that a felony is extreme but they do need to get into that home and find out all of the hidden truth of the relationship between the mother and child…

I have raised two children i was never abusive toward my kids but when they got totally out of line in public the look i gave them told them i was going to burn that booty up. I didn’t have too many of those episodes because they new what the outcome was going to be. I agree with a few people who commented that she should have burned the booty up when they got back to the car and she needed to discipline him the right way at home a little bit more instead thinking time out work. these crazy kids needs those backsides warmed up.

How are you doing today? I don’t have any children but have many nieces and nephews and they all act as if they have since and were raise with order for the most part… Many people sometimes look at use funny because our children are very ruley, it is very crazy when people are looking at you like you are crazy because your children know how to behave… It just like Yolanda Adams sound that if you have adults that act crazy in the mist of a storm then so will your children… Children do what you do not what you say and I have plenty of ways about me because I saw my mother be very caring of others… Congratulations for your son’s success because that is not an easy job to raise a good man or woman for that matter…

There are certainly double standards throughout the the criminal justice system as well as society as a whole. Case in point, what that lawyer “thinks” might be a felony is totally irrelevant. The only thing that matters is how GA law defines a felony and whether the conduct meets the definition. All that other stuff, i.e., motive, the mother’s past, etc., is just plain bull.

@Resurrected – there should be some prerequisite for having children, besides getting your period. I always fear for my kids in this world. Seems shit’s just getting worse and more bizarre every day.

One things that I have learn it is very scary being connected to other people so deeply like children and a partner because you can not control who they are around, what they go through and who they will become and so many get lost in the mist of the world lies and ways… I am also scared to have children because I know how to be very guarded with myself and as much as I will try to teach my children the same they are still people who have the ability to be corrupted by the world system and other foolish people…

I’m not sure what’s going on in this still image with mom and child, but I can vividly remember when my oldest daughter was two years old and she broke away from me and almost fell to her death,afterward I could see how a child leash that wrapped around her wrist with a velcro strap could be very useful in saving a small childs life.

Leashes are for dogs not children.

I would like to say that I have a daughter who just turned two. Her personality is nothing like I expected. She is a sweet child but when she can’t have her way she acts up. She was the first grandchild on both sides and everyone caters to her. Even my cousins and aunts. I did not have her until my 30′s and everyone was excited. I was working until recently so my in-laws would have her about 10 or more hours a day. It’s sad but they set the tone because of how they treat her. They never had any girls and let her get away with things. Honestly I only had her for about 3 hours a day until she goes to bed. On the weekends family comes over and then there is the church nursery on Sundays.

Most of her discipline did not come from me until now. My father and I discipline her and are potty training her but when she goes to her grandparents they do neither.

It’s said but family members will look at me like my child is bad but they are the one’s who basically did it. They have been around from day one and I should’ve told them to go home. I mean they are nice people but it’s like a village is raising my daughter but when she does something they don’t like then they say she’s bad. Even people with no children will try and give tips on how to raise her.

She ran from me in the store once and the next day I bought a leash. It’s not that we cant hold her hand. She just so small its hard and she’s busy and looking at things. A leash actually gives her the freedom to move a little more. I don’t drag her or yank on her. It also gives her more excercise than riding in a basket all the time. When I go for walks I use it and it’s great. I also use the stroller sometimes. You never know what a parent is going through. There should not be abuse but please offer a helping had to parents because sometimes they are overwhelmed.

This ladies son looks about 4 or 5 and knew what he was doing. I would not drag my child like that though, I would have discipline him.
