I think he is a talent, but he has the same problems as most rappers these days: Too much style and not enough content… and after a while people see through that.

I actually like the video. But I’m a fan of old school videos and I’m not one for all the hype and spending a 3 million for 4 minutes. I like the song. He is a bit overexposed… he’s setting the expectations really high which creates greater chance for him to disappoint… but I like his style and his sound.

I like(d) this song, but it’s already playing out. We are being oversaturated by Drake, and still no album. I think this is partially Wheezy’s influence. Look at the Carter III. It worked for him. Wayne was on everything before his last album finally came out (just like Drake) and by the time his album dropped people were in a feeding frenzy from the “buzz”. It just seems like he is following the same formula. But will it work for Drizzy? Does he even have a release date yet?

LISTEN to Drakes lyrics if you don’t like him…
if you REALLY LISTEN you’d see that often times he actually says something and has REAL CONTENT…
And although I like Trey SOngz music, all he EVER sings about is SEX. He has NO DEPTH whatsoever as an artist, which is why he’ll NEVER be as big as Chris Brown or Ne-Yo, etc., despite the fact he can sing. He could use some sort of development or explore more to life in his music, but he probably won’t at this point. He’s pretty much just a sex song artist. We need those songs, too, but more than that.

I hate Drake because he uses auto-tune and has his ***** buffers thinking that he really sings on his tracks. If he drops an album singing with auto-tune like he did on that “So Far Gone” mixtape I’m gonna devote myself to gettin’ starting a record label and saving hip-hop for the next 5yrs. Either get vocal lessons or split ur check with a singer. And Jay-Z’s a ***** for making a track called Death of Auto-Tune and then hopping on a track with an artist whose fame comes from a track he sang in auto-tune. He lost most, if not all, of my respect for that.
