You have a very valid point. Elvis was known for stealing music that was written by black artists and tweeking it so he can say it was his. Don’t know how true it is but I know I’ve heard that as well. Anyways I like Mariah and have always been a fan of hers. I went to her concert a few years back and really enjoyed it, but the best part was listening to her old songs. I’m not too into this new whisper thing she has going on but I can understand she’s trying to keep up with the retro crowd who don’t really appreciate what music was. Some good examples look at how some very good singers haven’t done as well: Chrisette Michele, Tamia, Chaka Kahn on her comeback, Jill Scott…etc. who are all wondeful singers and write crazy songs, but they not shaking their butts and dressing naked enough etc. I do appreciate A. Keys and Leona Lewis who I recently got up on. Anyways that’s going off subject congrats to Mariah for her wonderful accomplishments.
