I don’t comment too much, but I had to say something about all the above responses to this situation. I read all of your statements & I agree with you guys. Something needs to be done because black shows are missing from these networks & I agree with a lot of your solutions.

As a fan of this show, I felt this would be the last season. And for the most part, I’m ok with that. 9 Seasons is DAMN GOOD for any show, black or white. But to not let them have a proper finale is disrespectful – to the actors and crew who put 9 yrs of their lives into the show, and to the fans who have supported the show from day one. It’s not right, and I do believe it’s a race thing. They wouldn’t have dared to do this to 7th Heaven or any of those other shows. Its a damn shame is what it is.

FYI: FOR ALL WHO WANT TO KNOW MY FAVORITE JILL MARIE JONES “TONI CHILDS” LEFT THE SHOW, ON HER OWN, BEFORE THE MOVE TO CW BECAUSE SHE DID’NT WANT TO TAKE THE PAY CUT EVERYBODY ELSE TOOK. SHE FELT SHE WAS MORE VALUABLE AND PERSUED COMMERCIAL, MOVIE, & MODELING OPTIONS.

THE SHOW CREATOR, MARA BROCK-AKIL AND STAR TRACEY ELLIS-ROSS WANTED AND KNEW THEY NEEDED HER ON THE SHOW. BUT JILL DECIDED TO LEAVE ANYWAY.
