I dont care what anyone says. the media had no right. the jacksons already did a public memorial. the only cameras they invited were the ones to shoot for the upcoming ‘this is it’ film. they didnt invite helicopters. why did they hold the funeral outside? i dont know…. point is ppl need to show some gawd damn respect when it’s due

Michael’s family has been in show business for years and they know what to expect from the media and fans. Once you sell enough records, (purchased by media and fans), you give your private life up for whatever. Just go in peace and hold dear in your hearts that so many people loved and enjoyed Michael. If you had NO publicity, you would be talking about that. At this point nothing anyone does can hurt Michael again, so get on with your lives, and if you want privacy, stay away from the media. We love you all.

No disrespect was intended toward the Jackson family. Is Randy being somewhat grandiose after decades of being out of the media spotlight? Isn’t it very self-centered of him to not bear in mind that Michael Jackson was a worldwide known and much loved public persona. We all know that media can sometimes be intrusive; but coverage of was befitting given the magnitude of Michael Jackson. We, the public, rely on media to get and give us accurate access to information. This is the Age of Information. Did the Jackson Family overlook the fact that many of us, fans, also wanted to reach closure by seeing our beloved MJ finally laid to rest? Are we not due that much consideration? After all, isn’t it MJ’s fans interest that is still buying his music and paying his estate’s way out of debt? Our money is helping to keep the Jackson’s family compound out of foreclosure? We are the ones blogging our butts off and posting comments to media sources; in our efforts to make sure no stone is left unturned in MJ’s Murder investigation. Sadly, from the bits and pieces of the burial coverage that we did get to see; the Jacksons’ tardiness at the burial reflects embarrassingly on their family’s urgent need for outside organizers and supporters. As fans, we appreciate any media source willing to go the extra mile to provide footage, photos and accurate reporting of what has taken place. As in case of Michael Jackson, whereas we once settled for all the dark rumors and misinformation which surrounded the latter part of his life; we now want to see and know the truth which affords us the opportunity to make our own intelligent assessment. Randy–what we would like to hear from you is whether or not it is true that you were at the house when MJ died? What is your family doing to secure MJ’s possessions? Forget the reality show–is your family developing plans for a Michael Jackson Museum? The Jackson Family’s finances are still greatly effected by the feeling of fans. Their family spokesperson would be wise not to bite the hand that feeds them.

I have a friend who was married to one of the Jackson’s ex-wife sister so a lot of my information is from a credible source. All of the brothers are struggling – Marlon was working at Von’s and Randy is a mechanic. Tito is still performing somewhat after being released as the manager of his sons group 3T. Randy, Jermaine and Jackie are still at home leaching.

My point was this – there was no love lost between Michael and his brothers who all dispised him for various reasons but most notably because he would not help resurrect their musical careers. They were also angry that his MJJ music company had most of the brothers music and he would not release any of it. The same thing happened to Tito’s son’s 3T. The article was actually pretty accurate as it pertained to the struggles of the family.

Yes, Katherine loved Michael but she also manipulated Michael at the behest of her other financially strapped children. Randy, Jermaine and Katherine were around during the trial but their services were not free. Did you know that Katherine charged Michael 250,000 dollars to do that tape regarding the molestation charges and that Randy was handling the Ranch and Jermaine was taping a potential ‘reality’ show of the trial.

All of the brothers thought he did it – as well as LaToya who spoke out so it is not a surprise that there hasn’t been a lot of ‘tears’ shed on his behalf as they pretty much felt he got what he deserved for treating them as he did. There is a lot about this family that would SHOCK the average observer.

100% Co-sign. Bottom line, their actions completely contradict what they say. Don’t tell the whole world about the details of the burial and then get mad because your “privacy” was not respected. May MJ rest in peace.
