T-Pain needs to stop hatin’. He should only hope that people are still listening to his music when he gets to be as old as Jay-Z.

I can never understand why so many people worship Jay-Z. Why is Jay mad at Autotune ? Could it be because he doesnt really sound good on it ?

TPain *DOES* have staying power. He’s a producer first. He’ll ultimately change up his sound and will continue to produce and work with more and more artists. Being more than a singer/rapper guarantees you some permanent foothold in this industry.

Maybe he takes JayZ’s “diss” to autotune personally because maybe there’s more than what the rest of the world is hearing? More behind the scenes, even? Let him fume and be upset; he’ll move past it and continue to produce music with or without (hopefully) so much autotune.

DOA is a flop, so what it reached #24 on Billboard it is nothing compared to a top 5 hit or a #1 hit, which he has not had in awhile. Jay-Z trying to kill autotune so that maybe he can have a career, but no one is really checking for him. I agree with Razor people from up North try to get with people down here, i.e. the South to have a hit. That is why last year and the year before T-Pain, Lil-Wayne, Plies and others were featured artist on hit songs. Without them some artists will never see a top 10 hit again,

you think charting a #24 is bad when the song was illegally downloaded 900,000 times. if jay had released it digitally the same day it hit radio, it might have been number 1 on billboard.

The point is no one really cared to hear it, the radio did not play it therefore, it did not chart in the top 10 nor the top 5. It was released as a radio sinlge, check billboard.com, maybe this will help you get your facts straight.
