“Six teen girls lured a former friend to a home and ambushed her, taking turns pounding on her face and body for 30 minutes until she was unconscious as someone videotaped the violence.
‘Shocking, I’ve never seen anything like it,’ Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said. ‘They seem to have absolutely no remorse at all. I don’t understand the sheer violence.’
Police said the girl traveled to the house and walked into the trap. One girl met her at the door and five others were hiding in a back room, detectives said. The girls were then seen on video pummeling the girl in the face and body and slamming her head into a wall.
As the videotape rolled, a girl’s voice is heard yelling ‘There is only 17 seconds left; make it good.’ Police said the girls wanted to post the video on YouTube and MySpace. Police said two boys stood lookout outside the house during the beating.
The girl was taken to a hospital by ambulance and treated for a concussion, damage to her left eye and left ear, and numerous bruises, the report said. The girl can no longer see well out of one eye and hear from one ear, Local 6 reported.”
Is there something in the water? What is with these kids and their sociopathic behavior? Now these chicks are timing a beat down – on camera – trying to fill up dead air time. SMH, SMH.

I work with kids and I am always telling them that when they have problems with someone pull them to the side and talk to each other, especially if she was a friend. I know back in the day when people would say that a lot of us kids would shrug it off like nah we’re going to handle grown folks style. We’d go in the playground throw up our hands and see who’d win, then the next day or two and you’d forget about it and be friends again. But in retrospect the violence was not needed.Today you get in a fight and win, the next day the loser comes in with a gun. When you try and p***** on some wisdom to these kids now a day they just don’t want to hear it. It’s like I’ve been there and I’ve done that so I know… then they get more and more violent and then have to face adult consequences. These are some kids who are not thinking may be I will give her a concussion and she can die, maybe I’ll nock out a tooth and she’ll choke to death, maybe I’ll cause her to have internal bleeding. Kids now days are very disrespectful and filled with rage and when not checked these things happen. There is no good excuse for what these children did and that is why people don’t feel bad when the justice system wants to lock them up.
If they dont get due time for this incident, I’m really going to be sick.
If the D.A. doesnt try them as adults as the police are suggesting, then he needs to lose his seat when the next election comes around.

let me tell you this behavior is not typical in black neighborhoods because we discipline our kids. This doesn’t mean we all beat our kids but for some it works. My brother and my mother have this look and that’s all it takes to get them kids in line. You don’t always have to spank your kids and they always point us out because they know that we will phsyically discipline our kids if we see the need to. I grew up on spankings and I didn’t turn around and go kill people because I was angry. I learned cause and effect- when I do x, y will happen so don’t do x.I agree a lot with what intenzemocha said- people don’t hold their kids responsible and then let them do what ever they want to. Kids imitate what they see- those girls didn’t come up with the idea to videotape them wooping that girls behind from the top of their head, they saw it in a movie.I know because one of the girls I used to babysit used to watch these crazy teen ancts movies and I think it was called Jawbreaker or something like that. When I saw the violence and the nonsence I made her turn it off even though she told me her mother lets her watch what ever she wants. These kids need to be locked up and taught a lesson.
These girls are only being charged with a misdemeanor. Now I don’t think it was that big of a deal but they charged the Jena 6 blacks with felonies, what bs is that. But this seems to be just a part of growing up. I went to a mixed high school and have seen many a white girl get the business. Some fight back, some don’t. I don’t think its that big a deal because the girl didn’t look too hurt in the video. I didn’t see blood or anything so I’d guess the parents are exaggerating her condition. Like I said, I’ve seen much worse. Blood and broken bones, weapons used. So I don’t see why this had made the national news. Again, kids get whipped everyday. I know you’re from Detroit by that post. In my earlier post, I said sorta the same thing. One of ‘em would’ve got f***ed up. That’s the way we did in Detroit during my teens. Somehow Meka grabs a foot twist and pulls the ***** down to the floor in the process breaking the dining room table. Shawna runs to the kitchen for a knife and Meka pics up a chair from the destroyed dining table and breaks it over Peaches back! Peaches is out cold, Shawna got a sprained ankle, but here comes Pops from the back bedroom who heard the commotion and is armed with a leather belt wrapped securely around his right hand! He walks out sees 2 see his baby girl laid out on the floor. Without asking questions he goes striaght for Shawna with the knife and belts her ***** like a runaway slave. MEka takes the opportunity to slip out and run down 20 flights of steps, with a torn shirrt, some scuffed kicks, and 3 acrylic nails broken off. She Goes to the corner store and buys a soda and bag of chips and rallys the troops……

On another note, I just now watched another video on CNN this afternoon of another incident in Baltimore.
A 14 or 15 year old student could be seen on top of her teacher, beating the ***** out of her, while the rest of the cl*****mates cheered her on and taped it with a cell phone.
No one called for help. One boy looked like he was going to stop it but backed up.
Girlfriend, was on top of the teacher, punching her in the face, HARD, and nowhere but the face.
What *****ed me off is that the teacher wasnt even trying to fight back. I dont know if the teacher was white or black, all I could see was her legs and skirt.
But the student beating her and the cl*****mates were all black.
Anyways, its sad. Taping that mess instead of using the phone to call the cops?

Same thing happened here in Dallas. If the teacher fought back they would have been fired or banned from the school like one teacher was. Others just quit and sue the district.
BALTIMORE — An art teacher at Baltimore’s Reginald F. Lewis High School says she was beaten by a student in her cl*****room in an attack that was recorded on a cell phone camera.
Jolita Berry tells WBAL-TV the attack happened Friday. The chief of the Baltimore City school police told the station Tuesday he had not been notified of the attack and planned to begin an investigation.
The video of a cl*****room fight showed up on My*****e.com. Berry says the person being beaten is her.
She says the attack began when she told a female student to sit down and behave. As the girl’s friends cheered her on, Berry says the girl hit her in the face.
Berry says her prin*****l told her that telling the student she was going to defend herself triggered the attack.
*And we wonder why kids are so wild and careless today.

I remember being in middle school and a girls mom and aunt jumped her enemy in the firetower (fire escape) and mased the girl…13yrs old. Over a boy. 2 13 yr old girls…sad. But this was really bad also. I feel bad for this lil white girl. You can tell she’s obviously scared and just wants to leave. She probably never been in a fight b4. Sad. Even if she was a bully, did they really need to do all that? They couldn’t just have had a one on one outside somewhere?

You can obviously tell the girl didn’t want to fight anyone, and she probably thought if she tried to retaliate, it would have made things worse. POLK COUNTY, Fla. — Eyewitness News learned Thursday that prosecutors will charge the seven Polk County girls at the center of a violent beating as adults.
The group is accused of attacking a 16-year-old girl and recording the act so they could post it on the Internet. They’ll now face battery and kidnapping charges as adults and the kidnapping charge could be punishable with life in prison.
Three of the girls were also charged with tampering with a witness.
The suspect’s first appearances in court are set for Friday afternoon.

Shocking – I’ve never seen anything like it,” said Sheriff Grady Judd as he described the
video of a Felony Battery that occurred on March 30, 2008, at 6124 West Calendar Court,
Lakeland, in which six female juveniles attacked a 16-year-old victim while one juvenile male and one adult male stood outside as “look-outs.” “They lured her into the home for express purpose of filming the attack and posting it on the Internet. This is outrageous behavior.”
The victim, a 16-year-old Lakeland resident, was staying at the home of one of her attackers, Mercades Nichols, DOB 1/24/1991, during spring break. At approximately 8:00 pm, the victim arrived at the residence and was met by Nichols, and Brittini Hardcastle, DOB 9/10/1990, 1242 Thomasville Circle, Lakeland, who both began yelling at the victim and threatening her.
The victim went into a bedroom and was met by April Cooper, DOB 6/12/1993, 1111 West
Greenwood Street, Lakeland, who began insulting and threatening her. Cooper, who had
been hiding, then struck the victim several times in the face, and slammed the victim’s head
into the bedroom wall, knocking the victim unconscious as others were videotaping.
When the victim awoke, she was on the couch in the living room surrounded by Cooper,
Nichols, Hardcastle, Cara Murphy, DOB, 01/02/1992, 2762 Highlands Creek Drive, Lakeland, Britney Mayes, DOB 01/20/1991, 1111 West Greenwood Street, Lakeland, and Kayla H*****ell, DOB 10/13/1992, 4575 Old Colony Road, Mulberry.
The victim said it was at that time that all of the suspects began hitting and yelling at her while it was being video taped. At one point in the video, it is plain to see that the suspects blocked the victim from leaving the residence.
During the incident, two additional suspects, Zachary Ashley, DOB 3/11/1991, 6116
Calendar Court West, Lakeland, and Stephen Schumaker, DOB 10/20/1989, 6020
Calendar Court, Lakeland, acted as “look-outs” while the attack was occurring.
After the attack was over, three of the suspects forced the victim into a vehicle and drove
her to another location where she was finally released with a threat from the suspects
warning her not to contact law enforcement or she would be beaten even worse.
Once at a friend’s home, she called law enforcement and was transported to Lakeland
Regional Medical Center by ambulance for injuries sustained as a result of the beating.
On the video, the teenage victim can be seen being beaten while the suspects video
taped the crime, laughed, and encouraged one another to hurt the victim. All of the
juvenile suspects were transported to the Juvenile *****essment Center without further
incident. The single adult, Schumaker was taken to the Polk County Jail. All suspects
were charged with Felony Battery and False Imprisonment.
Mayes, Hardcastle, and Nichols are the three juvenile suspects who forced the victim into
the vehicle and drove the victim to another location. They are charged additionally with
Felony Kidnapping.
