Umm.. when did Sparrow’s become a big black bird?? And I think it is a beautiful name!.. and it even rhymes with Harlow, her daughter’s name. All these “American Traditional” names are just names of things and items in other languages. At least these celebrities are taking pride in the English language. Look up the name Peter which means Stone, David means Beloved, Mark means King, Samantha means listener, etc…. All Arabic names have meanings which are used in daily communication, and the meaning of the name is more important than it’s sound. American’s should grow up, because a sparrow is a beautiful, pleasant, worldly bird.

I think it’s a beautiful name also. And your right about the meaning of names. My name is Asha which means life or lively in Arabic (my whole name is Arabic as a matter of fact, lol), it’s also a name in Swahili and Indian.

I’m sure the name has a special meaning unlike all the stupid names I hear all around me everyday. Names without meaning young, ghetto women give to their children. I wish these women would get a book about baby names and what the names mean before just pulling some stupid sound out of midair and saddling their children with those ridiculous, ghetto names for life. I wish we would go back to the biblical names instead of the stupid stuff you hear today.
