Umm.. when did Sparrow’s become a big black bird?? And I think it is a beautiful name!.. and it even rhymes with Harlow, her daughter’s name. All these “American Traditional” names are just names of things and items in other languages. At least these celebrities are taking pride in the English language. Look up the name Peter which means Stone, David means Beloved, Mark means King, Samantha means listener, etc…. All Arabic names have meanings which are used in daily communication, and the meaning of the name is more important than it’s sound. American’s should grow up, because a sparrow is a beautiful, pleasant, worldly bird.

Nicole is not half Hispanic and she consistently denies that she is and I believe her. She has no reason to lie why would she? She is not Hispanic in any way so get over it. As for the connection to the Escovedo’s, she denies that all the time. Sheila E and her brother Pete and the other siblings have a black mother and a Mexican father so that makes them biracial. I have never seen a phot of Nicole’s mother so I don’t know what she is but I do know it isn’t Hispanic otherwise she would say so. (Nicole Camille Escovedo) is not white, she is black latina…her mother is rumored to be afro domincan and her father peter escovedo is mixed of mexican, african american, and creole heritage. She does not tell the names of her parents for confidentiality reasons, although it’s known that her father is Sheila E’s brother. She has stated on more than on occasion that she identifies with her african american heritage; so it is what it is. Plus people act as though blacks and latin people don’t come in many shades from skin, hair and eyes. SMH.

Just because there is a confidential agreement don’t mean you still have to deny a certain group from your family tree and Nicole denies Escovedo all the time. Lionel might have paid Pete who is black Mexican to put his name on the birth certificate; rich men will do anything to keep secrets from their wives. Nicole and Lionel’s younger daughter looks too much alike for my mind, to not be related. Both have white mothers and light-skinned black daddies that’s for sure. Nicole knows who she is and doesn’t have to lie about it. But she is not Latina I know that much.
