Some call Joe Wilson a great statesman, and are even proud of his “Shout Out”, so lets see, he says, he was told by the Republican leadership to apologize (he did not realize the magnitude of his mistake), he then gives his weak “not for reals” apology, but then goes on to those “Commentator Talk Shows” and basically says he real was not wrong and plays the victim card and calls for people to send in for money to support him for re-election. Had he kept quiet after his apology, that might have been the end of it but now that people know he lied about the apology the story will continue, until he is out of a job and the funny thing is, he does not see it coming. This summer has been rough for his beleaguered political party. At least he did not end up on the “Republican 2009 Summer of Love” list: *****emblyman, Michael D. Duvall (CA), Senator John Ensign (NV), Senator Paul Stanley (TN), Governor Mark Stanford (SC), Board of Ed Chair, and Kristin Maguire AKA Bridget Keeney (SC). In my opinion the Republican Party has been taken over the most extreme religious right (people who love to push their beliefs on others while trying to take away the rights of those they just hate) and that’s who they need to extract from their party if they real want to win. Good Luck, because as they said in WACO, “We Ain’t Coming Out”. The birthers, the tea baggers, the screamers, and the deathers continued extreme minority presence will become tiresome to mainstream America, if it has not already done so.

1. Obama is half “white folk”

2. Majority of black people voted for him because he is black not because of his political party or his political views. If the next black canidate is Republican, they will most likely jump band wagons.

3. Many “white folks” also voted for Obama but did not use race as a deciding factor. White folks campaigned for him, support his ideas, and celebrated his victory.

4. “White folks” raised him and nutured him. His “African” father left him when he was 2.

So…Why do so many black americans act as if he is ONLY thier president and insinuate that any white person who disagrees with Obama’s views and statements is racist??? This is not the first time in politics that someone has had a “freedom of speech” outburst during a Presidential speech. It is just the first time that these “black folk” paid attention.

5. Kanye West does not care about white people.

@CAM- I did hear a couple of boos, however, there was no camera shot of where it came from, or who did it. Joe Wilson’s outburst was unnacceptable. And as you stated that thre used to be a time,
” NO ONE in Congress was allowed to applause OR heckled”, in that same video clip,the Congressman applauding Bush, just like they were applauding Obama. The civil thing to do would have been for Wilson, to keep his trap shut and READ THE DAMN PROPOSAL, FIRST. From what I have seen an been told, there indeed was a section specifically stating about no illegals would benefit. He had to heckle the president. It’s disrespectful and in poor taste.

1. Noone stopped Bush from defrauding this country and starting a fake war, he should be investigated and held accountable for lying to the American people. People actually were getting FIRED and LOSING THEIR jobs for disgreeing wih Bush, They were labeled ‘unpatriotic’, for disagreeing wth his fake war.

2. Bush was a drunk, *****ehead and poor student. He should’ve nver been acceptd to ANY university, but the good ole boy network and nepotism, got him there. Obama graduated from a top unversity on his own merit. He was not admitted due to nepotism. He was a excellent student. Bush couldn’t even *****ounce ‘nuclear’ correctly. He was an idiot and noone was upset bout all the money he kept spending, no regulation for the market, as soon as his term was over, the country was near bankruptcy adn collapsing. Every business venture Bush was a part of, FAILED M*****IVELY. He was close friends with Kenneth Lay, Skilling, etc. ENRON ,Anyone?
He was warned about the housing market getting ready to collapse, yet he did nothing.

3. Obamas administration has been riddled with racist incidents since he stepped into office. The disrespectful emails to the ‘wrong’ people, by other government officials, the constant paranoia attacks from the right, he can’t talk to the kids, Michelle wearing shorts and finally the health care reform, this isn’t about the health care reform and you know it.

Bush’s daughters were of age to make the decisions to become drunken *****s. Obama’s daughter are still kids, I don’t think ine has anything to do with the other.

Where was this tea-party righteous indignation when he was running this damn country in the ground? No, wait until the blk man gets in office for 8 months and hold him accountable for 8 previous years of WASTE and MISMANAGEMENT. That is fair. GTFOH!

Also, does no one see the irony of the fact that obama gave a 45 minute speech and was interrupted 40 times for applause and standing? There once was a time when NO ONE in Congress was allowed to applause OR heckle. Those times have changed, but if you are going to let one side of the government voice their approval during a speech, then you have to give the same right to the other side and let them voice their disapproval.
