I’m a big fan of Wendy’s show and I don’t believe this story in its entirity. I believe that Wendy may have condoned certain behavior from her husband that may not have been acceptable in a typical relationship such as openly complimenting other women, sharing his attraction for other women with Wendy, and partying with him like he’s one of her friends. Maybe she thought this was strengthening they’re relationship or something. I saw women do that. I think its crazy but some women believe this makes the relationships stronger and it really just makes the man not respect you. I think Kevin was just taking it too far and Wendy didn’t realize it. I think he knew, like a lot of people, who he could get away with stuff with…not because he’s an agressive man, but because that’s been their relationship for years. I think Nicole was tired of the work environment and decided to use this opportunity to get some extra money and move on to a new job opportunity. I don’t buy she was some helpless, deligent worker who didn’t know how to take this situation to the appropriate people and have it settled. I think Kevin is probably just one of those meat-headed men that don’t understand you aren’t joking until you get up in their face, cuss them out, and treat them like a pedophile. I’ve dealt with mean like that. They don’t know you aren’t playing because you are laughing (even though that laughter is nervous laughter). I also don’t believe that if Kevin did all that stuff he would be allowed back on the premises at WBLS. And furthermore, men do stuff when they are insecure. Maybe Kevin had a hidden motive for coming on to Nicole other than just wanting to sleep with her. Nicole did report the harrassment to WBLS but they did nothing about it. Wendy Williams is WBLS meal ticket they will do whatever it takes to make sure she stays on the air. Wendy knew what was going on and she let it happen. She could have put a stop to the situation by keeping her husband out of the studio. He serves no purpose to be there. Yes he is her manager but that doesn’t give him the right to be in the studio rubbing up on people and making inappropriate remarks. Why is that when a person reports illegal behavior at the workplace, they just trying to get paid? I work for a compnay that has strict “no dating” policy. I am so happy for that because you never had to run and avoid people. And you never have to worry about losing you job if you report harrasement. This company pays the employees pretty good and they are really generous with quartely and yearly bonuses, so I think that also keeps people in line.

Just an opinion from experience–

During the course of my career, I’ve witnessed many claims of sexual harrassment. Some of the claims were proven to be unfounded, some were from jilted or scorned lovers, (it’s more common than you know in the workplace) and some had validity to them. The one thing I noticed with the more truthful claims is not that the associate was looking to “get paid”–they just wanted the abuse to stop.

Everything mention in her the complaint should never happen in the workplace.
