We were watching some portions of the VMAs together and my daughters were both happy that Taylor won. They were in pure shock when Kanye did what he did. Man… Yes, Kanye was rude, but it’s not like he did it to be polite. It’s true that this girl didn’t deserve that award, as I’m sure she herself knew. I strongly believe that accepting praise that you don’t deserve – especially when YOU KNOW you don’t deserve it – is one of the most despicable things a person can do. That being said, it’s not like Beyonce’s video was all that great either (although it was better than Taylor’s), but at least she is extremely talented, which is something no one with any sense can say about Taylor Swift. At the end of the day though, Kanye DEFINITELY did Taylor Swift a favor! Because she has millions of people who never gave a damn about her before looking up her video on youtube so they can see what Kanye was talking about.
