We all know Beyonce (like most superstars) doesn’t do anything spontaneous and unplanned because everything must look perfect from her angle at all costs, but it doesn’t matter in this case because it was simply the right thing to do whether it was to save face, or to give the poor girl her rightful moment.

Regardless of PR or not-Bey did the right thing. I personally don’t think it was the PR that coached her. If you seen the clip, you could see that Bey was clearly shocked and embarrassed. She is a very sweet person for doing that so give her credit where credit is do. Just for that, she gets my vote. PR makes suggestions and it’s up to Bey to decide if she wants to go along with it.

Whether it was a planned stunt or spontaneous, it seems to me that Kanye got what he wanted: a few seconds in the spotlight. And a lot of publicity for being “outspoken.” But it was an insulting thing to do, regardless of the color of who was involved. It’s one thing to stand up for what you believe, but you give up your own self-respect when you are rude and demeaning to others in the process. Lots of people on this forum will say this is preachy, but hey people, we need to figure out a way to respect one another, not tear each other down. We can choose to keep feeding racial division, or we can choose to treat others the way we want to be treated. Simple as that.
