Word is, Beyonce may retire soon:
“The diva is currently working on a new album, but her cousin Angelica Knowles tells our source that it will be her last. Instead, Beyonce plans to spend her days scouting talent for new hubby Jay-Z’s upcoming label, The Carter Music Group.
Beyonce’s first protege is rumored to be an R&B artist named Chelsea Thomas. Her reps couldn’t be reached for comment.”
It’s hard to believe that Beyonce may lay her own talents aside to scout for other talented people. Is this just a rumor? Why would her cuz lie? But for all you Stans, don’t get down in the mouth. it’s probably just another publicity stunt, like the top secret mystery wedding.

I’m not a fan of B’s music so I don’t care if she retires, but if Jay told her to I could see her doing what he says. Remember she had the hit with Sean Paul and Jay refused to let her perform with him. She listened then. Jay is the king of his castle.
I believe her! Beyonce and Jay-Z have accomplished a lot in the music world and business world. And to be honest neither are spring chickens anymore It’s time to settle down and start a family. With her not constantly working on albums and doing shows, she’ll have time to be with her kids(future ones of course)and travel the world with her husband

If this is true (and that’s a big what if), then there is nothing wrong with that. Regular couples do stuff like that all the time. There are lots of women who retire or quit or whatever just so that they can help their husband build and nurture his business and if that’s the case, that’s a beautiful thing. That would be a very “regular” thing to do and its all good.
However, its hard to believe that she would give up her career when she’s at the top of her game. Maybe its a pub stunt or a rumor. We’ll just have to see. I wouldn’t mind a long break from her though. But to go away all together, I don’t know.

Honestly…I think its a good idea. She needs to take a LONG break. Beyonce has been doing this for a while and I think it would be good for her to take a back seat for a while. We’ve had enough of beyonce. We’ve seen all she is capable of. There is nothing more for her to sing about. she’s done it all! I love her to death but I think she should fall back a liitle bit. I also think she realizes that in industry age, she is getting a little old now. In the industry when you come put as a young pop star its all cute in the beginning, but she’s not that lil beyonce anymore and she needs to start appealing to an older crowd. All that bubble gum pop stuff is for the rihanna’s, ciara’s, lil mama etc.
As much as i don;t like bee as a singer, i always thought that she was a strong woman. But she seems actually to like being behind Jay-z. I really hope it is her decision and not Jay-z that want her to leave the spot! This is true. Beyonce had an interview with Sway on MTV and said that she would retire before she turns 30. She said that accomplished everything she wanted and wanted to retire and focus on having a family.

The Sean Paul story is totally true. I’m sure I’m not the only one who saw the interview with Sean when he said he was shocked at how Jay was acting towards him. So Sean had to stand backstage while B foolishly performed a duo by herself on a major award show. Dude is mad possessive. What other celeb couple do you see together as much as Jay and B? They travel with each other to performances and the whole nine despite the fact they both have busy careers. It think that is what keeps them together in an industry where relationships often don’t work out though.

The wedding, was a Pimp Daddy/marketing production in an attempt to keep Beyonce’s image ‘healthy’ and ’strong’ up until the release. If you notice, other artists are getting more attention, the listeners, for the most part, are beginning to ‘move on’ and are interested in others…for the first time. It HAS been Beyonceworld for about 4 years now..but now Mariah is banging, Keisha, Mary, Alicia, Rihanna in her own rite and the appeal of ‘Beyonce’ just because she is the beweaved on is waning. And HER PEOPLE KNOW THIS. If you check the top google searches, for the FIRST time in about 4 years she is NOT topping….which brings us to the

B, you said it so well. I don’t mind Beyonce so much, but her stans are so delusional. It is hard not to spill over and start disliking Beyowulf as a result of her psycho fans. She is not the end all be all. There are better vocalists, e.g. JHud, more accomplished singers, e.g. Mariah and Mary J., and more well-rounded vocalists, e.g. AKeys. She really isn’t that talented. Her voice is mediocre, she does the same two dance moves, and she jacks most of her live performances from other artists (Britney Spears, Madonna, Janet, etc.). She has only two solo albums, one of which was good but disjointed and the other which was horrible and underperformed.
Like you said, BDay underperformed. She had to re-release and release more music videos to try to sell more albums.
I always *****umed that her empty character was a result of nature, but you raise a valuable point about her education stopping at middle school. Acting requires so much mental *****ytical skills and observational skills, that I’m certain that she will never excel in that field.
