Whitney was very articulate. She knows how to speak well, and engage in a fulfilling conversation of substance. May God continue to bless her and her family and give her the strength to stay strong. It is good she had the religious foundation, and a praying mother who loves her and did not give up on her.

Bob-BAY, just brought out the hoodrat in Whitney and for her to say in the interview that she did not do drugs alone, and to more or less make it sound like Bobby was the main force behind her drug addition is just plain wrong and cowardace!!!…*****ody told you to make anybody smoke up your fortune Ms. Houston and Bobby didn’t make you continue to smoke crack! A part of rehabilitation is dealing with the fact that you are totally in control of what comes in and out of your body!!!! Until then, Ms. Houston is going to continue to deal with additive issues: alcohol, etc.

Oprah looked so fake to me acting like she didn’t know what Whitney was talking about when she was mixing weed with cocaine. Oprah now damn well she knew what she was talking about, hell she may have done it herself.
Enjoyed her honesty, but she did contridict herself a few times. She was smoking weed before Bobby but escalated to *****e after. She said Bobby allowed her to be herself away from the cameras. She said she didn’t do drugs alone, but would lock herself in the room for Days and do drugs, listen to gospel, read the bible, and talk to friends. All in all I think she put it all on the table because there was no longer a reason to be candid about it. I only hope that the things witnessed by Bobby Kristina will not have a negative affect on her later in life. They need to put the focus on saving her.

Correct me if i’m wrong, but her career was already in the stratesphere when she met that ***** at the Betty Ford’s Rehab Clinic for Cocaine addiction while he was there for alcohol abuse…Hell that’s why the public and her “STANS” were so perplexed when it was first announced, they were seeing each other, not realizing that Whitney was a drug abusin’ hoodrat to begin with…It’s like I always said before, these ***** *****es have no sense of accountability. I thought Whitney was graceful and honest. I’m happy that she came on Oprah and was being so honest. I don’t think she blames Bobby, or heard her say that. She was in her own world like she said. The fam was too much for her and people expected so high from her. She said something to that affect to why she started smoking and slipping away. She blamed her marriage but not just Bobby. Your 100% right what I here is blaming Bobby for everything no one force her to take any drugs. I remember back in the day when Eddie and everyone else was boning her. Thats when she starting looking at younger guys because everyone else in the game had her already. Her and Bobby hook up because they both like to get high bobby was into weed like most young blackmans and she was upper scale into *****e and it went on from there. That interview was by far the best one I’ve ever seen on Oprah. I commend Whitney for being so candid and for not dodging any questions. She is a shining example of God’s healing power, and I’m so happy for her. Hopefully her story will inspire a lot of people. Hell, she inspired me & I’ve never done drugs a day in my life! No, her voice will never be the same, but she looked so happy & content, and thank goodness that she’s away from crazy ***** Bobby Brown! It just goes to show that all the money in the world cannot bring one happiness, and that we all take normalcy for granted. Get em, Whitney!!

Loved the interview. I have always related to whitney and bobby. I used to be in a similiar relationship during the height of whitney and bobbby’s craziness. I always knew that ***** bobby was driving her crazy. No, bobby didnt MAKE her take drugs but when you love someone so deeply the power and influence that have over you is paralyzing. I was like that with my ex and he too kept my “sedated” (weed, alcohol)so that I couldnt think clearly while he was out cheating, disrepecting and doing god knows what. I too was spit in the face by the man I loved dearly. The drugs is a coping mechanism. You are unhappy but love this person so much and you hope and pray things get better but doesnt seem to be, the drugs just help you escape and it soothes the pain from the problem at hand, at least for a moment. The only downfall is that you get addicted and that happened to me too. Do u think she WANTED to be an addict? I dont think so. Whitney was dealing with a helluva lot…..the fame, the fortune, the loser husband with no job, her father, her image, her child, court appearances with bobby (and you know she was the one paying those hefty back child support!). The fact that she was able to hold onto her faith amist all of this and lean on God for strength even for “one day” is a miracle. Its not as easy as you think. Unless u have walked in ones shoes and understand what they are really going through, try and have a little comp*****ion. I am proud of Whitney. I love Whitney dearly and I have always considered her to be the greatest voice of our time, but the interviews revealed a few disturbing things about my girl. She is NOT completely in recovery and she is still suffering from some denial & false pride and I predict that her cocaine usage is not over yet. I will not go into detail about her denial or pride issues, but the most telling information she revealed today is that she still drinks alcohol. I am a recovering addict and a volunteer drug abuse counselor, so believe me when I tell you that the percentage of addicts who go into treatment and never use again is about 2% and to make it even worse, of all the addicts who stop using cocaine, but still insist on drinking or smoking weed, the percentage of those who never use cocaine again is about .00001. Just the mere fact that she refuses to abstain from any drug use (alcohol is a drug too!)says that she is only in recovery temporaily. I do not read minds or predict the future, but unfortunately, in this case, statistics do not lie. God Bless you Whitney
