Robert Johnson stays out of pocket:
The billionaire founder of Black Entertainment Television says Barack Obama would not be a leading presidential candidate if he were white and that the Illinois senator’s campaign has “a hair-trigger on anything racial.” The Charlotte Observer reported on its website Monday that Bob Johnson, one of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s top black supporters, was commenting on remarks previously made by Geraldine Ferraro, another Clinton supporter.
“What I believe Geraldine Ferraro meant is that if you take a freshman senator from Illinois called ‘Jerry Smith’ and he says I’m going to run for president, would he start off with 90% of the black vote? And the answer is, probably not. Geraldine Ferraro said it right. The problem is, Geraldine Ferraro is white. This campaign has such a hair-trigger on anything racial it is almost impossible for anybody to say anything.“

Many of the Old Vanguard (NAACP) are alot more willing to work within the system. Younger blacks are more progressive and want change now. But we have to work together because the goal is the same. First- In no stretch of the imagination is she right. What I believe and what the Bible says are two different things.
I do take ssue with ‘catching the Holy Ghost’. How can you catch what is named to be God Almighty? Is God a nerf ball that preachers like Pastor Manning can throw at people and they act like animals wailing, and dancing? The Holy Spirit is named to be the reason the universe was created, so I think it INSULTS God to say people can ‘catch’ Him like they catch a ball and act a fool. I do not think God causes confusion, no? why is it that when people say they ‘caught’ the Holy Ghost, they speak in tongues without interpretation as Paul admonished the Corinthian Churches?
I actually think many properties of the charismatic sects of the Protestant denominations represent African religions of Vodou, Candomblé and Santeria. Not that there is anything wrong with Vodou, Candomblé and Santeria; I just think that if people are to say they represent Christianity, or whatever religion, then factual knowledge needs to be applied to what it is and what it isn’t, that’s all.

I’m 6am and I grew up in Honolulu, I was educated in Honolulu and i still reside in Honolulu, so here’s your 5 reasons why i should vote for Obama:
1. He’s our best hope for change, he’s younger so he can relate to the problems facing a young family because he has one, He isnt mega rich like the Clintons, eventhough he is well off but only in an Upper middle cl***** kind of way.
2. This country is in shambles and who better to come in and work to fix it than someone who truly represents the actual demographic that is America today?
3. We gotta get out of this “war for oil” we’re in now, its the basis for everything thats going wrong in our country right now, George Bush invaded Iraq because he wanted to finish the job his daddy couldnt, because Sadam threatened to kill his daddy during the Clinton administration (remember Bill launching that missile and destroying a small city during the 90’s? iraq didnt have ***** to do with 911!
4. As someone who has to travel to other countries with my job, I can tell you firsthand how many of our so-called allies now hate our *****es, I’m lucky because I’m black and they actually feel we’re persecuted enough over here, but I’ve seen a few white *****s get their ***** beat in a Hong Kong bar for the simple reason that they’re white, talkin’ ***** about America runs the world etc.
