I agree with most of the posts. Wendy needs to realize that maybe Whitney isn’t in that place in her life yet. She has just come to terms with her addiction and then took steps to get clean. Whitney still has a long road ahead of her and she may relapse all though I hope and pray that she doesn’t! But Wendy has had 10+ years to deal with and accept her sobriety. Whitney is still at the starting line of sobriety. If and when Whitney is ready to give full disclosure on crack then maybe she will. Right now it’s painfully obvious she’s having problems admitting to the basics of her addiction!

As far as I know, Whitney has never disclosed as much as she did in the Oprah interview. Given time she may reveal more. As for me, I don’t need to hear it. I wish Whitney the best. I’m so happy for her and her child. Instead of criticizing her, people should look at the growth she has made since 2002 when she did that really horrifying interview with Diane Sawyer. It is painfully obvious that she had a drug problem and is recovering from it now. It’s HER journey, not ours! With all of the death around us this summer, we should be happy that Whitney is alive to tell her story, sing again, and do it her way! I really wish her the best!

I agree with Wendy. I’m not an “offender,” never have been and don’t plan on it, but Wendy has a point. Whitney is an adult and an adult chooses what they do and don’t do with their lives. SHE chose to do drugs and to stay with Bobby. SHE chose to then stop and leave. SHE understood that those things were not good for her and her daughter. So since she decided that she wanted to do this interview with Oprah, then SHE should have owned up to the drug use like an adult.

What did she mean by “I’ve smoked it. You’ve smoked it”? 1st of all, Wendy honey, I have NEVER smoked a (did she say) Woola. Don’t put that on me Ricky Bobby.

Well she does have a point… I know someone in recovery, and he says what’s most important is that you recognize and accept the fact that YOU are responsible for what YOU’VE done. Nobody makes you take drugs. You choose to do it, whether its because you want to please your husband, or you want to escape a bad mood. You have to own your addiction and your sobriety.

I don’t know about Wendy … anybody as OBSESSED with outing gay celebrities as “she” is, makes me awful suspicious. I mean DAMN, finding gay people in the entertainment industry is about as hard as finding a damn blunt in the hood.

No Wendy, everyone hasn’t smoked that crap. I have never done an illicit drug and I have a problem taking prescribed and over the counter drugs. I recently threw out a couple of full bottles of pain pills from a c-section and sinus infection. These can be two very painful things, but I like to be in control and I can’t stand taking something that makes feel out of control.

SIGH…. i can’t wait until her show gets the ax…
