Random Ridiculousness: Lark Voorhies Playing Whitney Houston in Biopic

Ghostface Killa Lark Voorhies is rumored to play Whitney Houston in a future biopic. According to sources at Arista Records, Lark has been in private talks with Clive Davis to portray Whitney Houston in an upcoming bio-flick about Whitney’s life. The film which has been confirmed to start shooting in 2010 will be released in 2011 and hit theaters in August. The reason for choosing Lark is because of the strong similarities between her and Whitney along with Lark’s great abilities to sing and act. Casting auditions are still being held to find a younger Whitney and a pre-teen Whitney for the film.
We could see a lot of other actresses who could do a much better job that we’d rather watch on a big screen for two hours. But we guess if Beyonce can play a heroin addict, Lark can play a crackhead.

I like her. Glad she is getting some work. She never took off like I thought she would. I mean I could see a VERY SLIGHT resemblence. Would like to see how good of an actress she really is.

She is pretty enough…but, I don’t know about the whole crack-head Whitney…IDK if she will be able to pull that part off. And we all know, Whitney is pretty hood.
That would be great if it turns out to be true. I like her. Although, I’m concerned as to whether or not she could talk like Whitney. Lark Voorhies has always had somewhat of a high pitched voice.
